Green Eyes: Sadness

The broke her heart and he never knew, the way he told her to shove off and leave him alone, it hurt her but still he did not listen to what she had to say... she couldn't help but tell him - like she was known to do everyday that she loved him. Kagura Sohma, the boar from the Chinese zodiac, walked down the street down to the Sohma Estate where she was asked to go for a check up with Hatori to deal with her new found 'depression'. This caused her to laugh, depression, she didn't have depression... okay well maybe she did... she just wouldn't let them know.  Kagura - well she was a brunette with about half a dozen cowlicks in her hair. She looked lost in her emotions, just as much as she had expected though.

He didn't have to be so mean; I don't think you know how much you mean to me. I had been me that accepted you when we were younger - I put aside your differences and played with you. Okay you know how cruel I had been by taking pity on you but I couldn't help it... I thought, finally someone whose life was worse than mine, and I smiled and decided to help you by playing with you and hoping to become friends - I then wanted to become more. As hard as it seems I soon happened to need you and I didn't want to but the more I played with you and the closer we came... it all made sense.

It didn't matter anymore, she knew this. It was when the girl heard some sort of noise behind her that her skinny shoulders shuddered as she raised her head so that her grey eyes could gaze at what was watching her. The eighteen year old came face-to-face with her younger cousin - The blonde haired Momiji Sohma.
"Kagura-san!" Momiji jumped down from the gate to run and give his cousin a hug, to which wasn't returned. Momiji's big brown eyes filled up with a confused texture. "What's wrong?" He asked but just saw Kagura's dark eyes look beyond him to whom or what happened to be lurking in the shadows. Kagura shook her head:

 It was nothing.

Though to that thought she sighed. A small smile grew upon her slender lips which were chapped from the cold air which was swaying around both her and Momiji. Kagura couldn't see Momiji sad and returned Momiji's hug. Still the boar couldn't help but wonder over how the rabbit had the appearance of someone far younger than his fifteen years.
"Where are you going, Kagura-san? I'm going to Hari's Nothing important of course. I just love his garden!" The rabbit smiled as he hopped alongside his elder. "I hope your going to be okay, don't let that mean Kyo get you down." Momiji chuckled though his companion didn't feel much like laughing along. She hadn't said anything since he yelled at her, this even caused her mother to get worried about her - hence the reason why now the whole family knew and Hatori was getting her anti-depressants. Still Kagura didn't see how they could help when she wasn't depressed, she just didn't feel much like talking.

It wasn't soon that the two Sohma's arrived at Hatori's area of the main house. Momiji waved and skipped off to the garden which was at the back of the house, where she had to walk through the front of the house. It took a while for her to enter but she did and looking around she found no sign of Hatori... though she did find someone - Hatsuharu. Her younger cousin, the same age as Momiji - though with looks that surpassed his years. He wasn't facing her; in fact the only way she knew it was him, was by his unruly white hair which had a neckline of black. He was reading something, this she wasn't exactly sure of, it was just his head was bowed - he definitely was hovering over something. She cleared her throat; he turned around slightly, his lighter silver eyes focused upon her through his snowy fringe.
"Konichiwa Kagura-nee." There he goes again, she would have thought, treating her like a little girl - always making sure she was alright, calling to her as if she were his sister. Which fortunately she wasn't, Kagura’s eyes found its way to a little black book which was in his hands, so she had guessed right! She was amazed that she was cheerful enough to raise the corners of her lips slightly at that. "Are you here to see Ha'ri?" Kagura nodded to which a strand of brown fell in front of her eyes, she moved it back impatiently knowing that in three seconds it would just fall back. "Well he's not going to be back for a while. Akito's fell ill." She felt distaste from his last three words though she could agree to why. She sat down next to him... yep and there went that strand of hair.

"I heard something happened between that stupid cat and yourself. Is that true? A row...?" Haru asked her. Kagura just shrugged - as if she didn't care, but if she didn't then there had to be some reason to why it was eating her up inside. Haru could tell from Kagura that something was wrong; she wasn't saying anything and the simple nod of the head didn't count as communication. He placed his book down on the table and then struggled to view what was wrong with her through her eyes - the saying 'the eyes are the window's to the soul' seemed to be wrong when it came to Kagura - her eyes just seemed dark... cloudy, misty... If only he could tell why.

Well he would find out, he would make sure she told him – he would get her talking again, he had to because if he didn’t then Kagura might never come back to being the way she was… she may just be a lost soul… which was something he wasn’t going to let her be. It was sadness that was controlling her and she wouldn’t let on. She was sad but she would never shed any tears when she was around others – she locked herself up in her room to do that – pride… she had too much pride. She would have gone to someone first to tell about her feelings… probably her mother – maybe Shigure…. No way, she would never go to Shigure about her feelings – no she would rather risk Ayame…

“It was Kyo’s fault.” She muttered unable to stop herself…
