This is the style of cake I would like. Disconnected tiers, each tier having its own flavor cake.  One white, one red velvet, one spice, and the top tier can be very small, and red velvet, or plain chocolate. 

II can't see needing more than 4 tiers.  I like the spiral upward of the last two cakes on this page.  The next few pages are butterfly theme cakes.  I like them all, but have noted my favorites.
