Invocation-
“We are here to celebrate Spring Equinox, the time of the child. Persephone has returned from the underworld to
Demeter and all the earth blooms in rejoicing. The newborn Goddess of Candlemas has grown to a playful daughter.
The earth is reborn within her in springtime, when flowers and tree turn green, and all things are young, playful
and new. Day and Night are in equal balance and the cycle waxes in the spring. All promise is yet young but manifesting;
there is joy and rebirthing on the earth.”
Meditation- Go back to your childhood. Be an infant. Be three years old, be six years old, be in grade school, in high school. Remember the joys and if there is pain watch it be removed from it, heal it. Hug, stroke, and love the little girl that you were. Ask her if she has a message, ask her if she has something for healing for you/her. Hug her again. Shrink her image small, hold it in your hand, open your heart and draw her in.
Body Ritual- Talk about your childhood. Go around four times
1.What were you like as a child? What did you like to do most? Favorite toy?
Pet? Sister?Friends?
2.What would you like to change about your childhood.
3.Are you healing, healed your childhood and inner child
4.Visualize putting all the bad things into a bowl of saltwater- Pass the bowl around- They are gone
Light a candle on the altar to honor the child within.
Pass around a bowl of penny candy and a bottle of bubble soap and eat the candy and reassert the good/ light things
about childhood.
Play children’s game- jacks, circle game, and Goddess charades. Get silly, let your inner child come out and play. Have a bubble gum blowing contest. Skip rope
Raise energy- Use children’s songs, nursery rhymes, and camp songs. Do
them at an increasingly faster pace. Play along with a kazoo or child’s drum. Direct the cone to the healing of
the children of the world who are in need. Ground.
Open circle
Potluck- Eat children’s food: spaghetti-O’s, cookies, peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches, jellybeans, and
gummi’s. Look at baby pics.
