Hanael: preparing for live show with istidraj for the dark funeral live in singapore.

AoP: how would you describe the As Sahar sound?

H: melodic black metal.

AoP: How did the band begin?

H: way back as far as 1987.

AoP: How would you compare the As Sahar sound to Istidraj?

H: as sahar:melodic black metal istidraj:aggresive black metal (both bands have the eastern metal touch)

AoP: How did you get involved with Istidraj?

H: i'm their permanent sessionist(bass)

AoP: Your other project is Requiem.  How did that come about and how does the sound compare to your other projects?

H: requiem was form in 1985 & requiem play wicked & chaos black metal.

AoP: What are your favourite As Sahar tracks?

H: tinggan.

AoP: What are your favourite Istidraj and Requiem tracks?

H: istidraj:istidraj requiem:eternal spells

AoP: What are your favourite all time songs?

H: enter the eternal fire.

H: possessed:seven churches

H: none

AoP: What do you think of the position of metal and music in general today?

H: too exposed.
