HARDCORE

Containing three members of the now defunct Earth Crisis, this release was always going to attract quite a bit of attention.  Earth Crisis have influenced bands throughout the '90s with there strong lyrical stance and powerful music.  Now there return as Freya with As the Last light Drains contains short sharp bursts of manic Hardcore. I have to admit I'm not too keen on the At the Drive In style whining throughout each track but when they get down to it this album is heavy and hard hitting.  Fans of Earth Crisis and Hardcore in general will have to own this one.
