Albums of Purgatory: firstly, whats the band up to?

Bleeding Display: By the moment we are just playing live here in portugal, and making new stuff for a new demo cd.

AoP: How would you describe the Bleeding Display sound?

BD: well, we play what we condider Death Metal, full of influences.

AoP: How did Bleeding Display start in 99?

BD: We have started just for fun. But in a few time as became a serious project.

AoP: Have you been in any bands before BD?

BD: No, only Juca, our drummer and Alex the bass player.

AoP: Who are your musical influences?

BD: As we said we have lots of influences, It goes from the sickest (like regurgitate..) to extreme technique
(cryptopsy...),and the great death metal bands ever, carcass, cannibal corpse, etc!

AoP:  Has it been difficult to keep going with all the line-up changes?

BD: Line-up changes are always a hard thing to deal with. It as slowed us a lot on the song writtings. Only us
(João / Sérgio) are here from the beginning.

AoP: What are your favourite Bleeding Display tracks?

BD: We both have the same choice, the favourite tracks are "weak balance" and "horror shaped face".

AoP: What are your favourite all time songs?

BD: Thats a real hard question.....too many to name..

AoP: What was the first record you bought?

BD: João: My first one was Powerslave-Iron maiden Sérgio: the first Europe album.

AoP: What would be your dream band line-up?

BD: Well, we hope it's the one we have it now. We believe so!

AoP: What do you think of the position of metal and music in general today?

BD: Metal is still, the "dark side" of the music. and I dont see that idea as a bad one. Metal is only for a
certain kind of personality/user. But metal is getting bigger in the music industry.I hope that is goes on the right way..

AoP: Do you have any funny stories you can share with us about the band?

BD: Bleeding Display have lots of fun stories, the most unusual are always on stage or at studio recording..to many good ones just to name one or two.

AoP: and finally what do you see in the future for Bleeding Display?

BD: We are just thinking about the present. And that is real hard work.  About the future we hope...sucess and lot's of Death Metal.
