DEATH METAL

the music of Nonexist has more mood swings than Axl Rose on tour.   Switching from melodic death metal to a doomy style then surprising you with a switch over to a frenzy of fast guitars and drums. 'a Halo Askew' as absoloutely astounding and the guitar work is like nothing I've heard in my life.  Johan Reinholdz is undoubtedly very talented.  the first thing I noticed about this album is how good the bass was... and it turns out he plays that too!  Add to the fold the former Arch Enemy vocalist and Dark Funeral drummer and you have one hell of a line-up.   I am very excited by this release and can only imagine what sort of sound they'll be releasing in five or so years time. wow.  Other highlights include 'the Devil Incarnate', 'Phantoms', 'Ebony Tower' and 'Idols and Fiends'
