Firstly, whats the band up to right now?

- Hailz we are Envidhia, melodic death metal from Sicilia (Italia). We are searching components to complete our line-up so we can have live events and other. Our first demo-cd "The Plague" will be recorded again with others new songs in a professional studio to have a promo-cd. Then we can send it to labels and majors and we hope to sign a deal.

How would you describe the Envidhia sound?

- Our sound is a mix of melodic death,gothic,dark and nu metal. We have a lot of influences but our guideline is swedish...

How did you get involved with the band?

- I founded Envidhia two years ago with Salvo (guitars). We have started a death metal way and Envidhia is only our vocation...

Can you remember your first gig (how did it go)?

- I don't rember exactly.. but i think no special.

Are you involved in any other projects and if so how do they compare to
Envidhia?

- No, Envidhia is my only band at the moment. A lot of artists have requested my vocals services and i help everything but in my mind there is only "my" band Envidhia. The same for Salvo.

What are your favourite Envidhia tracks?

- All

What are your favourite all time songs?

- It's very hard answer... I thing that there isn't one.. My favourite songs all time are very much.

What the first record you ever bought?

- I don't remeber. it's very far the first album i'v bought. I think something rock, aor

Which album was it that got you into metal and can you explain why?

- But i don't remeber also this... i'm born with rock/metal music... Anyway i think Metallica but i'm into metal not for Metallica or Iron Maiden but for my metal heart. I think also In Flames have changed forever my music vision.

Whats the last album you purchased and what did you think of it?

- Reroute to Remain of In Flames. Music is evolution!!!

What would be your dream band line-up?

- Mike Portnoy - drums
Alain Caron - bass
Demetrio Stratos - vocals
Chic korea - keys
Winnie Moore - guitars

If you could do a cover for a tribute album to any band, which song of which
band would you pick and why?

- I'd like to do a cover of Metallica.. "Master of Puppets" is a masterpiece all over time.

What do you think of the position of metal and music in general today?

- I think metal market is immature. There is a great scene in the world but other kind of music are better as market, commercialy.

Which other bands stand out for you at the moment?

- Dark Lunacy!!! They are another italian melodic death metal band. I think that Dark Lunacy will conquer all the world. A greatest melodic death idea, very good!!

Do you have any funny stories about the band you can share with us?

- When in an our live event (into a church saloon for a birthday party) my microphone was broken and i have started to blaspheme on 300 people.. ihihihhi

and finally, what do you see in the future for Envidhia?

- I hope to sign a deal with a label so we can start a professional way into international metal scene. We are working.. hardly!
