AoP: Firstly, whats the band up to?

Giovanni Cifaldi: Now the band play in italy for make known the last cd "Falling into the Crimson Vortex"

AoP: How would you describe the Vortice Cremisi sound?

GC: Our sound is a Vorticose heavy,psycho rock!

AoP: How did the band form back in 92?

GC: Now we are in two that playing toghether since 1992,with us there is Raffaele a new bassist,in 92 played cover and after i started to compose my firstly song,they was more noise like helmet but now we are more stoner!!!

AoP: Can you remember your first gig?  How did it go?

GC: Oh yeah but it was very easy,i played cover and was very funny and rock 'n'roll,yeah!

AoP: Which bands have enjoyed touring and gigging with the most?

GC: Acajou and Unsane

AoP: What are your favourite Vortice Cremisi tracks?

GC: Mr.Deltaplane

AoP: What are your favourite all time songs?

GC: This is the good question but maybe it is impossible to answer,so maybe it could be Atmosphere of Joy Division


AoP: what was the first record you bought?

GC: The first vynil record was "here today,tomorrow next week!" of the Sugar Cubes and first cd was "reading, writing and arithmetic" of Sundays!

AoP: What would be your dream band line-up?

GC: Myself,Brant Bjork and josh homme!

AoP: What do you think of the position of music in general today?

oh its depend by kind of music you prefer,in the rock stoner ,if you play in italy is so and so but we go on!  In Italy it's enough difficult to found gigs,and also get a label,so we go on for passion for music,today there are very bands, some good and some of shit!

AoP: Do you have any funny stories about the band you can share with us?

GC: when we played in Polland was a great experience and there was some funny stories,they acclaim us like a very famous band and its so good for us, guys that ask me autograph i don't never see in italy!

AoP: and finally, what do you see in the future for Vortice Cremisi?

GC: oh i hope to play live concert as possible in everywhere,and to do another record in the next year!
