Albums of Purgatory: Firstly, whats the band up to?

Maddog: Getting ready for this years big Milwaukee Metalfest Show in July. We are going to show the world what to expect when the Age of Darkness arrives.

AoP: How would you describe the Dark Disciple sound?

MD: Black Doom Metal with it's own unigue sound.

AoP: How did the band start?

MD: In the Darkest depths of our high priest mind. It was a vision bones had while serving time. This was his destiny.

AoP: What are your favourite Dark Disciple tracks?

MD: All the new stuff is fuckin brutal and sick, but if I was to pick a few, they would be the following- When the Wicked Inherit the Earth, Serving the Priest, Infernal Domain, Beneath the Inverted Cross, Headless by Dawn, and Vile infection

AoP: What are your favourite all time songs?

MD: How about bands instead of songs. Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Dio, King Dimond, Deicide, Nile, Morbid Angel,and Vader.

AoP: What was the first record you bought?

MD: It was Black Sabbath

AoP: What would be your dream band line-up?

MD: It really doesn't matter just as long as they can shred like a mother fucker.

AoP: What do you think of the position of metal and music in general today?

MD: It's not where it should be on the ladder of music but I think it's getting better. The big labels need to take a chance on the underground music and maybe , just maybe the world will wake up and see what the fuck they've been missing all this time.

AoP: Do you have any funny stories about the band you can share with us?

MD: Well there are many stories, like the time I tea bag our old guitarist at the Decide show. The time Rez left a show with this married lady, and found that out when her husband came home on them and he was a cop. There's the time hanging out with Pessimist after the Morbid Angel show and getting so smoked up in the hotel room you could not see the other side of the room and the clerk from downstairs thought the building was on fire. Or the time playing some prepy party for 250 people a scaring them all off when we played. That's a good one, fuck them prep faggots. Oh yeah if your a girl and you need things check out on you, don't worry just come to a show and hang out with us,  I'm sure some of us can do your annual check up on you. This did happen at a show, she was a hot little thing and wanted herself check out for good health reasons. We gave her a good clean bill of health. So if you need a pelvic exam, there is always a doctor on hand.

AoP: and finally, what do you see in the future for Dark Disciple?

MD: A record deal with a label who will give us the ok to lead you all to the path that leads to the Dead. To get our music out to all of you around the world. That would be cool.
