Black Metal

 You can say what you want about Cradle of Filth (I don’t think they’ll give a shit anyway) they are still one of the best Black metal bands around, which is possibly why they are so big. If you want proof, this is it. Their finest hour (give or take ten minutes) this was the first Black Metal I ever heard and what’s more the first time I’d heard anything like it at all. I was truly amazed. The orchestral genius, the sheer power and presence was breath taking. A year on, I am still astounded by the superiority against all other Black Metal I have heard. Highlights include ‘Cthulu Dawn’, Her Ghost in the Fog and Tearing the Veil from Grace
