HEAVY  METAL

 I don't know whether I should admit this but having only heard 'the Ethereal Mirror' quite a long time ago I'm not very familiar with Cathedral and I couldn't even remember what they sounded like.  Worrying I know, seeing as Cathedral are such a big name in Metal. So seeing as I couldn't remember what the vocals were like, I got a surprise when these punk vocals hit. Musically, it's obvious that Cathedral are now slouches but anyone else new to Cathedral I heed this warning. Don't cast your opinion too soon because metal wouldn't be metal without different sounds like this.  As I listened to this album I grew more and more fond of the vocals and there harsh style.  I'm not qualified to rate this album against any of there other work but I can say that this won't be for everyone but everyone should give it a try.
