Albums of Purgatory: Firstly, whats the band up to right now?
 
Karmen: Finishing up summer shows, recording new material. 
 
AoP: How would you describe the Ventt sound?
 
K: Aggressive and powerful 
 
AoP: How did you get involved with the band?
 
K: was involved with another project for 10 years, restructured and regrouped with VENTT 
 
AoP: Can you remember your first gig (how did it go)?
 
K: First gig was a big success 
 
AoP: What are your favourite Ventt tracks?
 
K: 911( tribute to sept 11th), LOL (stands for Laugh out Loud) and Slam 
 
AoP: What are your favourite all time songs or albums?
 
K: Machine Head, Burn My Eyes, KORN 1st one,  Black Sabbath (Heaven and Hell)
 
AoP: What was the first record you bought?
 
K: kiss alive 1 
 
AoP: What would be your dream band line-up?
 
K: VENTT is my dream band line up  :) 
 
AoP: What do you think of the position of metal and music in general today?
 
K: I think it's finally come full circle from a few years ago when alternative seattle scene rip offs were dominating the airwaves 
 
AoP: Which band in the Dallas underground scene are really standing out for you at the moment?
 
K: VENTT 
 
AoP: Do you have an funny stories about the band you can share with us

K: funny strange or funny haha, the answer is yes but we'd have to kill you.. :)
AoP: and finally, what do you see in the future for Ventt?
 
K: the future of VENTT is endless with possibilities, a live internet broadcast on musicians.net, thursday at 9pm central and the Local show with 97.1fm, live braoadcast, sept. 22nd, www.kegl.com,  things are really tight with the band and the addition of our new Bass player John Martinez is the final piece to complete the puzzle, we are very excited about the future.
