White Knight
© Starr Moonchyld 2009

My arms ache to hold you
My lips ache to kiss you
You’ll never know just
How much I miss you
My hands ache to touch you
My heart aches to love you
To look into your eyes
And feel myself above you
I want to be near you day and night
To be with you forever my shining white knight

I Am Me
© Starr Moonchyld 2006

Call me a bitch
Call me an elitist snob
It makes no difference to me
My friends know who they are
so do my enemies
If you do not like my lifestyles
I never asked you to live them
If you do not like my outlook
I never asked you to make it yours
Do not pretend to know my inner workings
I am the only one who can know that
Do not pretend to know what I want in life
My dreams are my own

When The Time Comes

I have tasted your lips
salty and sweet
I dream of touching you
of feeling your skin against mine
of lying with you in soft sheets

Are you ready for me?
Am I ready for you?

You bite and claw
I can't get enough
I want to wrap your hair in my fist
to make you gasp with excitement
I want to make you scream with joy
What fun we will have
when the time comes

Blinded By The Light
© Starr Moonchyld 2003

Your light shines like a beautiful star
Your smile could brighten the darkest heart

But alas the light has blinded me
And burnt me and now I cannot see

I am lost in the darkness of despair
I cannot breathe in this putrid air

My heart is burned and scarred
Black as night, cold and hard

I curl up inside myself, deep
Sitting, waiting, asleep

Will someone break through the dark
And warm my cold, dead heart?

The Death Of Love
© Starr Moonchyld 2003

Gods giveth
And Gods taketh away
The Gods have chosen to taketh away my love

Which is more painful?
A sudden death with no preparation
Or a slow lingering death that drains you,
procrastinating the end

I mourned my love today
I laughed at the good times
I cried that it ended
I fumed over the hurts and the slights

Life will go on without that love
Painfully, numbly
But it will go on

Perhaps another love will come along
And fill the gap that has been left within my heart
Perhaps, perhaps not
