This is simply a sample of what the syllabus
would look like for lessons with me. It would be tailored to your
path and the things you are interested in.
This is simply a generic idea.
- 1 day a week class format, about 2 hours per class.
- There will be time in every lesson for Q&A’s.
- At the end of every lesson, we must be clear on the next lesson so we both can be prepared.
- There will be “assignments” or exercises to help put into practice what we are discussing.
- There will be opprtunities to attend group ritual with me.

-Notebook and pen/pencil for notes.
- A folder/binder for any handouts I may give.
Lesson 1 – What is Paganism? What is a Witch?
- Brief history and overview of paganism and various traditions.
What a coven is, what/who is considered a witch. Different types of
witches, kitchen witches, hedgewitches, etc.
Lesson 2 – The Lord and Lady and the Elements
- An overview of the Lord and Lady. The Three-Fold Goddess and the
Great Horned God. What is a Pantheon?
The elements and their importance in paganism and ritual.
Lesson 3 – Altar Construction, Magickal Tools and your BOS
- How/why/where to construct a personal altar and the tools typically seen on one and used in magick.
Constructing your personal BOS.
Lesson 4 – Spell/ritual and correspondences.
- Spell and ritual format and construction. When to use a spell and
when not to. Spell ethics. Various correspondences
used in spell casting including color, incense, etc.
Lesson 5 – The Sabbats
- A general overview of the Wheel of the Year. Why and how we celebrate the harvest festivals.
Lesson 6 – Ostara
- History and lore of Sabbat. Correspondences and ritual examples.
Things to do in everyday life to celebrate this Sabbat.
Lesson 7 – Divination
- An overview of divination including runes, tarot, fire-scrying and pendulum.
Lesson 8 – Life, death, reincarnation, Karma and the 3 fold law.
- Life, death and reincarnation,
why things happen, karma and the 3-fold rule.
Lesson 9 – Children and Paganism.
- Children and paganism. What to do,
what not to do. Rites of passage.
Lesson 10 – Herbalism, oils and potions.
- Herbs, oils and potions.
What they are used for and some correspondences.
