Huh. Wow. Been a while.
Well, I am working out at least once a week now. Starting
this coming up week I plan on trying twice a week. Am working out w/
my sister, so I cannot skip unless I need a personal day or something.
I've been told that it looks a little bit as I've lost some size. That's good. Have dropped 1/2 lb. LOL But
In fat, that's quite a bit. Good luck to me.....again...*sigh*

Guess I haven't been doing too well
keeping up on my journal huh?
I guess with the wedding and all I
just didn't have time time.
I'll have to take my
measurements again soon. I've been
told I have continued dropping some pounds, but
sometimes it's just so hard to see that.

Well, finally got measured again.
Mixed responses, here they are:
thigh: 27.5" up one whole inch
chest: 48" up one whole inch (!!)
waist: 43.5" down two and a half inches YEA!!
bicep: 15" down one half inch
neck: 15.25" up a quarter inch
wrist: 6.75" same
forearm: 11.75" down a quarter inch
hips: 55" down a half inch,
but that's after shooting up 1 3/4" a couple weeks ago
So, guess I'm doing alright,
I am eating healthier though, and am trying to
cut down on the snacks, and we have cut down on the
soda again, and we've cut fast food down to about
once a week or so, sometimes less, so we're doing
alright. Am still trying to get Jeramiha (the fiance)
to get more into it, but he's been quite sick,
so can't fault him there. But, people are starting
to notice a difference, so yea me! :-)

So, finally got a descent measuring tape, a sewing
one so our measurements are more accurate.
Here's my new ones as of May 12,
we're taking them every Wednesday, so I'll have
new ones again tommorrow:
thigh: 26.5"
chest: 47"
waist: 45"
bicep: 15.5"
neck: 15"
wrist: 6.75"
forearm: 12"
hips: 55.5"
Certainly not the greatest but better!
I have started a workout
regimine that includes a lot of stretching and a
lot of calisthenics (tht's push ups, jumping jacks, leg lifts etc)
I did gain a bit of my inches
back over a week and a half where I had finals, so I
was otherwise occupied and
really not interested in working
out, but now that school is over
I can actually get
in a descent habit and get fit!

Well, have started working out with
a couple friends. They measured
me and I've lost 3 inches in my hips!
WOO HOO!! Now, finally, I've got
Jeramiha (the husband) on the bandwagon and he's getting
into the excercise thing too. Yesterday did 45
minutes of weight training ( certianly feeling it today!)
and I walked a half mile. Learned
though that the scale at the gym is incorrect and I
truely weigh *gulp* 276! AAAHHH!!
And that *GULP!* my body fat index is 50.3....!!!!
SO, certainly need to do something, and
something I am doing now!
new measurements:
weight: 276 (the other scale was off, this is still a loss of about 20 lbs)
thigh: 26 inches; loss of 3.75 inches! WOOHOO!!!
breasts: 47 inches; loss of 1/2 inch, not bad!
biceps: 15 inches; loss of 1.5 inches
waist: 45.5 inches; loss of 3.5 inches
hips: 53.5 inches; loss of 3 inches YAY!!!

Well, ended up hurting my back early
in December and just able now to
start working out again, but I'm at 262,
so that's not to terrible!

Well, short today. I'm down to 259.5
AND a friend said she could notice a difference
YAY!!! Plus that magazine I bought kicked
butt, so I think I'm gonna get a subscription...lots of good tips and stuff.

Well, I've lost a few more pounds. I am down to 261.
It's so nice to see results. It is easier
then to go back again and again to
work out, when you know it's actually working. I am so excited...!
It is becoming easier to eat healthier
the longer we do this. We have cut out pop so much now, that when
I drink Coke (my poison of choice)
I get hyper! LOL But anyway, I have class in the morning ICK!! And I bought
myself the Women's Health and Fitness magazine to read a bit.
Maybe I can pick up a few pointers.

Well, today I go in and have a consultation with the nutritionist at Lady Wellness.
I'm a little nervous for what she's going to say, but I'm also excited.
It's not quite as tough as I thought it was going to be, having to
cut out all these foods. When one thinks of the successes, and all I have
to do is think of hopping on that scale
yesterday and seeing a loss so soon to remind myself why I am doing this. I cannot start a
family in this condition. Right now I can barely walk up a flight of stairs without being winded, how could I
live and be pregnant for 9 months?? I don't know about anybody else, but that is motivation
enough for me...well...so is looking great in my wedding dress'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">wedding dress...
those sexy panties in the Victoria's Secret window...ohh..lala! ;-)

FIRST SUCCESS!!
I have lost 7 pounds!
Yea! At the gym today when I weighed
I was 265, which is 7 lbs less. WOO HOO!!
When taking such a massive undertaking
one must embrace each small step as a success, and remember
those steps with each failure.

So the other day I am getting ready for work
and I put on one of my favorite shirts,
an iridescent blue button up shirt
with short sleeves that kinda puff at the cuffs, really cute.
And the bottom button is straining not to pop. "NO Way!"
I think, as this shirt fit me just a few months ago.
I put it out of my mind thinking I
need to lose just a few pounds. Then a couple days ago I go
in for my yearly exam *groan* and they weigh me.
And as the nurse puts the little weights on the scale past 250
I am seeing this going !!!! and I almost fall of the scale. So, I am thinking
I am getting married in less than a year, and a couple years after that
I will start a family. I cannot go through these things being this unhealthy.
So this is my weight loss journal, to share with whomever of
you out there is reading this. I will even post my stats
to share my successes and failures. Here are my beginning stats:
weight - 272lbs
arms - 16.5"
thighs - 29.75"
waist - 49" (!!)
hips - 56.5" (!!!!!)
breasts/chest - 47.5"
So now I've cut out almost
all soda, all candy, most hanburger, chips/crackers, most pasta, no kool-aid/juices, and have
started going to Lady Wellness and I'm going to go as
often as I can for as long as I can and still be healthy. I am just thankfull my family,
friends and fiance are all behind me on this. I cannot believe I
let myself get so unhealthy. Well, Good Luck to Me!!
