Michael Lardie is best known for being the
awesome guitarist/keyboardist of Great White. Great White has been
performing since the late 80's and they're still going strong.
I had the pleasure of meeting the guys many times in the 80's
and 90's. Michael was always a great guy! I recently had the
pleasure of interviewing him.
1. Any person (living or dead) that
you would like to meet and why?
Marilyn Monroe. For some reason I feel a kinship with her.
2. Who are some of your favorite
musicians?
Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Terry Bozzio.

pleasure?

4. Who did you idolize as a child?
The Beatles

music and the music of the 80's?
It
seems more about sonics than
actual
composition of songs.
7. Favorite place to perform?
Too many to list.
8. What makes a good song?
Something that evokes emotion and understanding.
9. What are your hobbies?
Working in my home studio.
10. Favorite food to eat on the road?
Italian. Tuscan style.
11. The first concert you ever went
to?
Peter Paul and Mary 1963
12. Who's the best person you've met
on the road?
Best is a relative term. My most special moment of a meeting
was Ringo Starr.
13. Any current projects?
Writing for Great White
