Characters
Yes, another must have! A brief description of the characters that we see in the film. Well, the important ones anyway.
The Good Guys
- D: The enigmatic vampire hunter. He is a dhampir, a half vampire half human. His duel natures torments him, and he has convinced himself he will never have love or a normal life. He is detached, and an amazing fighter. In his left hand is a symbiot, which proves invaluble many times. It is obvious D yearns for a real life, and yet denies it becuase of the vamprie blood that runs through his viens. It is strongly suggested that D is the son of Count Dracula.
- Doris Lang: A young rancher girl, who lives alone with her younger brother. Doris is very beautiful, and headstrong. She is brave, and willing to do anything to rid her town of the evil vamprie lord. She falls in love with D, or at least thinks she does.
- Dan Lang: Doris' little brother. Dan is about ten, and worhips D. he is a brave young boy, but seems to lack common sense. He's adept with weapons, and can shoot quite well.
The Bad Guys
- Count Mangus Lee: The vamprie count who rules over the town. He is over 9,000 and very powerful. But he is bored with his life, and sees Doris and D as excitement. He is a cruel man, and kills with little thought.
- Lamika Lee: The Count's daughter, proud of her noble birth and family name. She despises Doris, feeling that the girl will tarnish her families name. She is willing to do anything to stop Doris from entering the family. Lamika is headstrong as well, boredering on stubborn.
- Rei: The count's mutant servant. Rei's weapon is a wicked curved throwing blade, and he uses it well. All he wants is to be brought into the noble house of Lee, and he will do anything to prove his worth.
The In-Between Guys
- Grecco: The mayor's arrogant son. He offers to protect Doris from teh count, but only if she'll be his woman. Then later he tries to save Doris from Lamika, but only so she'll marry him.
- Dr. Fering: A friend of the Lang family. He starts out as being a kind nad gentle man, but he is later turned into a vampire by the count.
