Pulvis

Race:  Human
Class:  Wizard
Religion:  Solusek Ro
Office:  None

Pulvis's youth was spent...well, shall we say without much direction or focus?  Like most young boys, he was inquisitive and always interested in the way of things around him. He spent a great deal of time investigating new places with his friends.

When Pulvis wasn't crawling through ditches and over walls, he helped in his fathers shop. His father and mother owned a small bakery in Freeport. Pulvis would wake in the morning to the smells of baking bread and spices coming from his parents' shop below where they lived. While they were never wealthy people, his parents would attempt to feed some of the increasing amounts of the needy on the streets.

Then one day while Pulvis was returning home from a day exploring with his friends, he noticed the front door of his parents' shop standing open. He entered the shop with care but found nothing. He called out but no answer. He proceeded to search the house but found no sign of his parents. So as it grew late Pulvis had no choice but to wait. As he waited he fell asleep near the fire. When he awoke he heard a sound coming from the back door. Thinking his parents had returned he went to ask where they had been. When the door did open a small dark blue person stood there. Now, knowing something was wrong, he turned to flee only to lose control of his body.

As the person marched him nearer the fire he could feel his heart beat with fear. After a short period his captor began to ask him several questions about an item given to his father by a beggar. With a cackle the intruder told Pulvis he had tortured his father. During this torture his father had said he had sold it for a small price to help with feeding people in need. At this Pulvis remembered a small gem given to his father by a beggar, and that indeed his father had sold it. Telling him the truth only enraged his captor. Then the pain began.

For some time there was only blinding pain. He thanked the gods for that knock at the back door. As the dark elf stopped for the fear of discovery Pulvis felt the control of his body return. While his assailant went to check on the knock he slipped through the front door, only looking back once to see a beggar at the rear of the house.

Since this time Pulvis has traveled Norrath seeking the arcane knowledge that will help in finding the person from that night, and thus, ask him questions on the fate of his parents and why?

During these travels early on he met another dark elf necromancer. While the first few meetings were tedious to say the least Pulvis began to respect this dark elf, for he could prove to be a powerful foe. This being true, it's good to keep friends close and enemies closer.

On one of these travels with this necromancer Pulvis was introduced to a beautiful half-elf, and through her he has encountered a group of fellow adventurers. With these newfound friends, Norrath does not seem to be the cold and heartless place it once was.  Together with this group Pulvis is sworn to destroy the forces of chaos that threaten the fair world of Norrath, and together they shall be victorious.
