Victor Stone is the genius son of a scientist. His father at STAR labs, an extremely advanced place of science. When Victor was in high school, there was an accident at the labs. Victor's mother was killed, and Victor was badly wounded. Desperate to save his son, Mr. Stone created a new body to replace the one Victor had lost, a body made of metal and computer chips. Now half robot, Victor was forced to give up school, sports, and all the things he loved to do. Feeling alone and rejected, Victor sank into depression and solitude. He was eventually discovered by Raven, who brought up the subject of him joining a team of teenage superheroes she had started with the legendary Boy Wonder, Robin, and after some time he accepted and became everyone's favorite metal man, Cyborg. The team was a way for him to feel like he belonged again, and he put everything he had into it. His father even aided the young heroes in building Titans Tower, a high-tech base of operations off the bank of the river in Jump City, California. Cyborg's father passed away soon, but Cyborg never gave up on his new superhero life, and formed close bonds with his fellow teammates, giving him to strength to get back his old zest for living. Cyborg is a very intense person, having no emotions that are neutral. He lives his life in extremes, he's either happy or sad, he either loves you or hates you, and there's no in between. Cyborg's easygoing personality makes him an incomparable friend. Cyborg is a bit insecure, often doubting his place on the team, in the world, and his role as a 'real man', but he always ends up finding his place and coming back to his friends, no matter what happens.
