Robin

Dick Grayson, also known as Robin, is the all around mysterious, kick-butt leader of the Teen Titans. Raised from a very young age in the circus life with his brother, as his parents were tightrope walkers, Robin is no stranger to the odd characters he encounters in his adventures with the Titans. When Robin was very young, his parents fell to their doom in a circus performance before his eyes. Now orphaned and alone, Robin was taken under the wing of Bruce Wayne, the legendary Batman, who had lost his parents at a young age also, and the two always had a close bond. Working as Batman's sidekick for years, Robin gained extensive training in many forms of martial arts and use to interesting gadgets in order to defeat villains. In his mid-teens Robin struck out on his own to start a team of young superheroes in Jump City, near Gotham where he had patrolled with Batman. Robin soon met a young half-demon named Raven, and the two founded the Teen Titans, and were soon joined by the other three current members Posessing no superpowers, Robin relies on his vast knowledge of martial arts and an array of interesting gadgets such as bird-a-rangs and disks that can freeze, explode, and create clouds of smoke to impair his opponent's vision. Even without the supernatural abilities of Starfire, Raven, or Beast Boy, Robin rarely ceases to come out on top in battle, usuing skills and smarts to outwit the toughest villains. Robin has a highly obsessive personality, tending to get to an almost unreasonably spastic state when an issue involves his greatest nemesis, Slade. But despite his tendency to go a bit mental at times, Robin posesses extraordinary leadership abilities and charisma. Robin is tirelessly determind, and will stop at nothing to protect his friends, even if it means giving his own life. When he isn't kicking bad guy butt, Robin is generally easygoing and enjoys just kicking back and spending time with his friends.
