Dave's Biography

Dave Pybus, Born June 4th, 1970, in Heckmondwike cemetery, West Yorkshire. First band I was in was called Anul Death, back in 1988. Started my own ‘serious’ band Dreambreed in 1991, which I played guitar and did vocals for. They were highly influenced by The Misfits and lasted ‘til 1998.

I was hounded to play session bass guitar for Cradle in June 2001 and did their U.S. tour in July and the Tattoo the Planet tour in September. They asked me to join after that, which I flatly refused, but seen as they can’t find anyone else ugly or stupid enough I decided to help ‘em out and joined in March 2002.

Instrument

All black 5 string bass guitar made exclusively by Maveric.Why? ‘cos it’s fucking free of course!!!

No, seriously, these guys worked hard to get me what I wanted and were cool from the start so I’m well into promoting them. Should have my own model by the next live dates later this year. The new guitar they just made me is killer!

Fave Food?

Curry (Tandoori express aye!), chinese, Italian.

Fave Drink?

Lager, red wine, Vodka &/or Jack Daniels (in that order, over a few hours drinking session).

Fave Movies?

‘M’, ‘10 Rillington place’, ‘Henry - portrait of a serial killer’. I never saw ‘Phantom Menace’ but Martin insists it’s the best movie ever made!?

Fave bands?

Misfits, Samhain, Danzig. Simple. I’m pretty closed minded about music as you can see.
