Fatal Acception was created sometime in 2000, with only two memebers (Chris Whitney & Paul Perreault) having risen from Chris's previous band called 'ninety seven' (formed in 1994) -in 1995 ninety seven released had demo tape(called 'truncated') wiuth 5 songs on it. There was a single (solo) performance in 1996 where Chris did 4 songs from the tape, and NIN:The Becoming at the Masonic Temple in Windsor.

Erik Ingalls, joined the two of them in 1998 and the name was changed to Psalm:97.

Then, finally, in the year 2000, a re-awakening began, new songs came into development and finally in April of 2002, Erik & Chris performed at Changez, with 5 new songs, and a cover of KMFDM's Anarchy. Then two months later, a much bigger show happened at the Zebra Room, the TRIO finally united performed 13 songs, about half original and half covers.

the band has now released the album "01100001", though I believe it is currently only out in windsor ont.
