Call Me Al
Series:Mummies Alive! Name: Rath Alias: None Age: 42? Hair: None Eyes: Green Dress: Rath, being a mummy, is covered with ancient Egyptian burial bandages used in ancient Egypitan mummification. He also wears an amulet with his animal, the cobra on it. When not in battle, Rath wears one wristlet and a tall hat. In armor, he wears cobra-shaped armour including a tail which has a mind of its own. He also had claw pieces and sandals. Both forms wears a kilt with a green belt. Template: Guardian of Prince Rapses/Presley Carnavarn; Scribe to Pharoah Amenhotep; Teacher Talents and Powers: Rath is very agile and intelligent which works in his favor. He loves to invent, though most often the things he invents have already been invented. He can read and write in ancient Egyptian as well as use magic in his endeavors. Personality: Rath is a person who hates to be wrong or looks stupid. Unfortunately, he tends to do it anyway. He will rarely admit that he does not know something and is very stuck up. It's understandable considering he had a very high position. However, despite his attitude, he's friendly and somewhat understanding and loves Presely/Rapses very much and enjoys the company of his friends/fellow guardians. Relatives: None About: Rath was born in ancient Egypt where when he was a boy, sent to a boarding school to learn the arts of being a scribe. Finding he enjoyed school, Rath learned quickly and was also taught magic, which he also enjoyed and mastered. After graduating, he became a teacher, specializing in magic. Here is where he met Chontra, a woman he fell in love with. He spent quite some time teaching Chontra and getting close to her, only to have his talents noted by Pharaoh Amenhotep, who was seeking only the best for his son, Rapses. Rath was summoned to Memphis with Amenhotep to be his personal scribe. This meant breaking off his relationship with Chontra as well as resign as a teacher. After returning with Amenhotep to the palace, Rath was assigned to be the personal tutor to Rapses, which Rath disliked and saw as a waste of his talents. However, unable to say no to the king of Egypt, Rath accepted and became the teacher and one of the 4 guardians of Rapses. Despite the dislike of teaching children {Rath doesn't seem to care much for children} he eventually learned to love Rapses like his own son, and was very thourough with him in teaching magic and writing. Rath's great knowledge would be useful to a prince heired to the throne Egypt. In present day, Rath is still ever into teaching and magic. He learns from Preseley though he'd rarely admit it. He adjusts well, finding a lot to fill his mind, though at the same time, becoming rather frusterated at all these new and complicated things. Quote{s}: " It is so hard watching myself say such stupid things" " Score one for the inteligentsia!" " Oh I knew there was going to be trouble, but does anyone listen? No. I might as well be talking to a room full of shabtis..." " He meant wrath as in anger." " I'd rather have a few figs and a pomegranate." " Wall...." Why I like him: Out of all the good guys in Mummies Alive, I'd have to say Rath is a favorite because I identify the best with him. I like reading and learning and tend to find living life can be rather complicated if you don't know everything. I find Rath's appearance and interesting English accent to be attractive, by cartoon standards and find it amusing when the serious scribe {with a dry sense of humor}, ends up becoming the fool. Back
