Sometimes even a little yellow. He has purple cuffs as well as the same for his pants though he always goes barefoot. Much like the moon reflects the sun. Yue is most powerful on a full moon and least on a new moon. He is able to create lunar "shards" or crystals that he can propel forward as weapons as well as create lunar archery...which seems to be his most powerful attack. Personality: Yue has personality? Actually, he does. Yue is generally always rather...well...stick in the mud kinda covers it. His a miserable individual who likes to keep to himself, sleep and pretty much wish he could shut himself away. However, there's more to him than that. Yue is constantly either in mourning or denial. He misses Clow Reed whom he loved dearly and was very slow in truley accepting Sakura. However, he knows his job and he does it, and though very UNsupportive of Sakura in the beginning, he grows to become a supportive individual for her. He's very and almost dangerously loyal to his loved ones, making it hard for him to move on. Relatives: None About: Yue was created by Clow Reed in Hong Kong using Eastern {Chinese} magic. He was named Yue, which is Chinese for Moon. Indeed Yue is a representative of the lunar powers of Clow's magic. He was very much attatched to Clow moreso than Keroberos {it is even rumored through the fanworld that Clow and Yue had some kind of phsysical relationship}. Yue was happy and content in his days. However, he became enraged when Clow Reed declared his own death. He named Yue a judge to choose the next master. Kero, being easy to please, would choose the candidate while Yue's stubborn attitude would be more useful in judgement {Clow Reed Cheated!}. Yue was released from the book and took on the form of Yukito/Julian, Touya/Tori's best friend. Yue and Yukito are totally different from each other yet Sakura says they are a lot alike. Upon Final Judgement, Yue was released into his true form where he battled Sakura and initially won against her, only to be thwarted by a secret weapon...a bell Clow Reed had made against him. Losing the battle, he recognized Sakura as his mistress {though wasn't exactly thrilled about it} and became her guardian. He became weaker however, as he now fed off of her magic. So, he was of little use. SPOILER!!!! Yue did however find a suitable source to replenish his powers and become more useful to Sakura....in Touya. However, it meant Touya would lose all of his own powers. The deal was made and Yue took Touya's powers. By then, he'd become a lot warmer towards Sakura. And, as much as I LOVE Megumi Ogata {she rocks!} I just don't quite see that voice fitting Yue. However, I'll be stoned by the villaigers for this one...I prefer his American voice. But, I do like Yue's character as well. When Final Judgement aired in USA, I was entranced by this beautiful character and watched simply to see him {I thought he was a she though until I watched it}. I became rather attached to Yue {and his human self} and since then have been hooked on Cardcaptors...and then after reading the manga...bashed Cardcaptors in persuit of the original Japanese title: Cardcaptor Sakura Back
