Blood Love

Dancing, swirling in yellow light
The green eyes of death shining
The lonely eyes of lost children looking down
Aching for the forbidden love
Out of the darkness the shadows speak
Sing, chant of unreadable words
And the blood rushing from the heart
Into the rivers of night
Cry their deadly poetry
Into my open wounded soul
