A white demon resembling an angel, with demonic powers sealed away by holy restraints. Truly a beautiful creature, which is why he is so high on my list. I love the mystery behind Gargoylemon. I prefer to use that mystery to my advantage by formulating theories about this rare being. One of my theories is that Gargoylemon can turn to stone. This theory comes from his attack, White Statue and Black Statue, and his name's origin. I also believe that the X and the O on his wrist bands represents Darkness and Light. This comes from Lucemon using X and O as the symbols for Darkness and Light in Frontier. This leads me to believe that Gargoylemon is a creature of balance, belonging neither to evil or good. At the moment I cannot prove any of my theories, but that is why I love him so. While I do want them to offer more information on Gargoylemon, I hope that they never destroy the aura of mystery surrounding the white demon. Contrasting greatly with the other Fallen Ones, Gargoylemon remains a digimon of mystery. He never appears in the series, and the only source of information we have about him is his card descriptions. All we know is that he is a familiar of the angels and is considered a white demon. The many straps covering his body confines his demonic powers, and he is gifted with light. While most of the other fallen angel/demon digimon possess the special abilities of both "fight" and "sky", Gargoylemon only possess the special ability of "sky", leading me to believe that he does not depend on hand to hand combat. We may know little about him, however, we do thankfully welcome him into the ranks of the Fallen Ones, the light bearing son of darkness. Other Notes In original sources Gargoylemon is a virus type digimon, however, in most English and European dub sources he is classified as vaccine. In most English and European dub sources Gargoylemon's primary attack is Freezing Wing, however, there is no indication in original sources that Gargoylemon possess any attributes of ice or wind. | |
