Getting down to the anaylsis of the characters personality must immediately reach into the psychological. It is my opinion that the visual guise of NeoDevimon inspires a mental image of schizophrenia, deep rooted depraved and chaotic emotions. Abused child perhaps, hiding the scars. This is just what kind of vibes I get from the character. Since his role in the story he's portrayed in is somewhat minor we are left to devise our own thoughts on the matter. When we first see NeoDevimon we are faced with a multi-eyed lip-less mask. A shock of spikey hair follows, along with a sloping and lanky frame wrapped in a leather jacket. One cannot be so quick to assume this is just a simple modification of the Devimon, because in doing so we miss just how truely unsettling this character can be. Also note the jacket he wears is very similier to the leather over-coat Max Schreck wears in the classic silent hilm, "Nosferatu." I also want to state that his actual type is quite curious; the V-Tamer version, or "Dark" version of him, is classified as a Synthetic Fallen Angel, while the lighter non V-Tamer version of him is just Fallen Angel. Refer to BO-947 and BO-14v if you want to see the differences, which are not only in type. | |
