R.I.P. Fanfiction Compeition
"DigiDestined Gone Bad":
Trayne and I have discussed it, and we have decided that the best course of action is to end the contest. Originally we were going to try and delay the deadline for as long as possible, but the more I thought about it the more I realized how unfair this was to the contestants. The two entries we did receive were absolutely fabulous, but after reading, and rereading, and rereading them we have decided that sc333's fic: To Open Your Eyes is beyond deserving of the grand prize.
To Open Your Eyes kicked ass! It was well developed and was presented in a very unique, not to mention dark, way. plus the subtle hints of Yakari added some flavor. Anyway sc333 is our Grande prize winner and will receive an original pic of Yamato drawn in his evil persona. Sc333 will also receive a request fanfic done by yours truly.
Now the other entry we received is Brother's Footsteps, and though the fic is not finished it is still a wonder. The plot is very original, and I personally hope to read the next chapter soon. The author for this fic is Emerald Space2, and even though Brother's Footsteps did not receive the grand prize, we still feel that the intriguing fic deserves recognition. so in honor of this fic Trayne will do an original ink pic of TK struggling with his demons.
It may take a little time to get the prizes out (Trayne and I are both swamped), but they will be finished as soon as possible.
Anyway thank you guys for participating, we loved your entries, and I apologize for the delay in announcing the victor.
Oh, I asked Trayne to give a few words, but I think my request threw her off guard, anyway she had this to say.
"Eep! ... Um, thank you both very much for participating and demonstrating the high levels of creativity that are missed severely in the world of Digimon fanfiction today."
.... she's so good with words, maybe I should have her start announcing the updates. I think everyone is tiered of my rambling.
