SkullSatamon Episodes
Digimon Zero Two Episode 43, "Attack of The Deamon Corps":
SkullSatamon's fist appearance in the Digimon series is a one of the menacing members of the Deamon Corps. The Deamon Corps was a powerful team of ultimate Demon Digimon consisting of SkullSatamon, Ladydevimon, and MarineDevimon. As a member of the Corps, SkullSatamon's loyalties lie strictly with the mega Demon Lord, Deamon. How SkullSatamon came to be in Deamon's services is never revealed, and his rank is never distinguished. Whether or not he has a personal agenda for being in the human world also remains a mystery, however, he seems to need no further motivation for fighting other than orders.
SkullSatamon's role in the episode begins when he is spying on Ken Ichijoji along with Ladydevimon. The two were order to locate the child who possessed the Dark Spore (Dark Seed), a device which was created and then released by MoonMillenniumon after he was destroyed by Ryo Akiyama and Ken Ichijouji. the Dark Spore's true power and purpose is never revealed, however, it seem to hold the powers of Darkness within it. Such an item proves to be very appealing to many, including Deamon who traveled to the human world just to seek it out. After SkullSatamon and Ladydevimon locate the Dark Spore and its host they vanish, returning to their Master to report the identity of the carrier. SkullSatamon is not seen again until further in the episode.
The next day the Digidestined hear reports that monsters are attacking the city of Odaiba. Instantly they split into groups, each chosen to specifically handle the threats throughout the city. Some go to deal with MarineDevimon who appeared in the bay, others head to the East side of town to deal with Ladydevimon, and the rest went north to confront SkullSatamon.
Paildramon, MeagKabuterimon, and MetalGreymon are the first to engage SkullSatamon. The undead digimon waited patiently on top of a tower until his opponents arrived and then met them with unpredicatble force. The Digidestined's ultimates were swatted away like flies. Daisuke instantly sees that the red and black devil is different from any other opponent that they have ever encountered, and with his revelation Paildramon digivoleves into his mega for ImperialDramon. Whether or not it is the natural effects of his attack or some sort of black magic is never proven, but after ImperialDramon had fully evolved he was somehow frozen by SkullSatamon's Nail Bone attack.
ImperialDramon is now at SkullSatamon's mercy, something I'm not certain that the undead even knows the meaning of. He prepares to destroy the meddlesome mega, however, his efforts are interrupted by the other Digidestined's partners. They begin attacking the evil ultimate in their highest forms, but they are still forced back and beaten down by SkullSatamon's Nail Bone attack. The original Digidestined's partner's are reduced to their champion forms, and the newer Digidestine's partners lay about the wreckage in a battered mess. SkullSatamon, now rid of all interference, returns to the task of destroying ImperialDramon. Quickly he turns to a bus load of innocent children, lifting it into the air and preparing to use it as the bringer of Imperialdramon's demise.
The children in the bus scream and plead for help while the Digidestined are forced to watch, knowing that they can do nothing to stop the powerful undead digimon. Just as it seemed that both the children's and ImperialDramon's fates are sealed, the rookie partner's of the original Digidestined collect their remaining energy and send it in the form of powerful rays of light to the frozen ImperialDramon. The spell placed upon the mega somehow melts away, and he is now able to transform into his more powerful fighter mode. ImperialDramon's power is now so great that a light radiates from his form, blinding SkullSatamon. ImperialDramon uses his most powerful attack upon the stunned ultimate and destroys him, saving the bus load of children.
Even though SkullSatamon only appears in one episode in Zero Two the impact he makes in the series is worth noting. His deliberate attack upon the bus load of children proves his heartless nature, and the power he displays during his battle with ImperialDramon shows that level isn't everything. If SkullSatamon had been fighting ImperialDramon alone there is no doubt in my mind that he would have easily defeated him. But despite his death the horror that SkullSatamon brought into the human realm still lives on, and that bus load of children will never know a sweet dream again.
Digimon Frontier Episode 43, "Bad To The Bones":
N/A: Unfortunately I was only able to see this episode once and cannot recall many details. I do know that there were three SkullSatamon called the "Skullmon Brothers", and that they worked for the Royal Knights. Other than that I am drawing up a blank on details. I think I was too distracted with how upset I was over the way they did the SkullSatamon's characters. Anyway if anyone would like to donate an episode summary for "Bad To The Bones" just e-mail me. The site will give you full credit for the summary.
