Since I appall the way Digimon Frontier presented SkullSatamon, I'm going to focus more on his Zero Two appearance, and offer a brief rant at how horrible his Frontier design was.SkullSatamon falls into the rank as my second favorite Demon. I know his official classification is an Undead Type Digimon, however, given his name, manner, and attributes, I always associate him with the Fallen Angels. His diabolically cruel nature gives him a crooked charm, and I adore his "I couldn't care less about you" attitude. Out of all of the Demon type digimon I consider him the most evil. The way the makers of Digimon designed him was truly amazing, a walking skeleton bent on painting the world with every mortal's blood, you can't get much better than that. I also find his possible lower evolutions, such as Devimon, quite suitable, and his higher evolutions, such a Deamon, absolutely perfect. Frontier, quite frankly, slaughtered his character by turning a truly wicked Digimon into a bumbling (if you'll excuse the corny expression) bone head. The Skullmon Brother's in Frontier were truly a disgrace to such an accursed Digimon. But if you ignore Frontier's monstrosities and focus simply on Zero Two's infamous fiend then you will, in my opinion, find SkullSatamon to be the most wicked of all Demon Digimon. Cursed and undead. SkullSatamon could put the Grim Reaper to shame with his horrific body and heartless manner. His body is a hollow shell without a soul and his cruelty is relatively unmatched. In his appearance in "Attack of the Deamon Corps", SkullSatamon proves himself to be a highly capable and worthy adversary to the light. His strength and power is almost unnatural for a digimon at the Ultimate level. He has a gift for controlling his battles by using tricky tactics, and since his special attack is execute by using his twisted wooden staff he depends more on hand to hand combat rather than far range attacks. Though he is powerful, powerful enough to take on a Mega and two Ultimates, he seems to have no reason for his fitting. He has no self ambition of ruling or leading, and seems to fight and destroy merely for the pleasure of watching his victims suffer. He delights in others pain, and seems only driven to follow his natural instinct, which is to destroy. In Digimon Frontier SkullSatamon is presented far differently than he was in Zero Two and the card games. Like most of the underlings in Frontier, SkullSatamon is boisterous, arrogant, and unable to devise proper tactics for destroying his opponents. He still posses the cruel uncaring attitude, which is proven by the fact that he thoughtlessly destroyed weaker digimon. He also has the unique ability to summon other SkullSatamon to his location by way of his staff. While the Skullmon brothers were not nearly as wicked as the SkullSatamon in Zero Two, they still held a great deal of power and were entertaining to watch in their own way. Home
