Hey! I got an e-mail, and I am amazed to find other women who are tattooed! My name is Jessica Logan, I am 21 years old, and am from Long Beach, Cali. I have 9 tattoos so far and a few in working progress. I have a sacred heart with wings on my chest, 2 lilys on each side of my front shoulders, a hibiscus flower on the back of my neck, a pin-up lady on my right leg, my mother's name on my back, 2 roses on my left shoulder, and 2 stargazers on each side of my back. I first started with the flowers because my mother passed when I was 14, and the flowers are a memory of her and the service. The heart shows the pain and light in my life, and the pin-up is a classic that I love. I choose to be tattooed because to me it's art and it's a way to show what I am feeling, and I am proud of every tattoo. I guess I would be considered Rockabilly, but I don't like to be called that...I love lots of different things, that's just a style and music I enjoy. I love cars...I have a 55 chevy-she's my baby, and I work with kids at a recreation center. I am currently in school to be a chef; I am a culinary student at the Art Institute in Orange County. The artist who has done most of my work is CHUY...I forget his last name, but he and his fellow tattoo buds are starting to get a real big name going for them. They were working out of Lynwood, Cali at Pinhead Studios, but the city would not allow another shop so they are in the process of finding a new location...but CHUY is the best, and I am so glad I found him.
