I'm an alumna of the Alpha Theta Chapter of the Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) sorority. This chapter is all about community service (e.i. they raise money for the Arthritus Research Foundation every year through the annual Philanthropy: Teeter-Totter-A-Thon). Within the sorority, I served as the Public Relations Chair from December 2002 to December 2003, basically the person that's incharge of getting our name out and building stronger relationships with the campus community, and within the Cedar Rapids community. I also updated our chapter webpage in the year 2003. I also created the new chapter logo thats also on this page. Yay! hehe ^_^ During my term, I have made AOII a part of the college community. We participated in so many events, especially when Homecoming 2003 hit us. I put together a homecoming float which won 2nd place and a poster that won 1st place. For the homecoming pep rally, we put together a little performance to Salt n' Pepper's "Shoop". I loved this office and put much of my time into it, but it was all worth it! =) We were given the Campus Commitment by an Organization Award in the Coe College Leadership Convocation of 2004 (though I do give credit to our former President Allison Anderson for nominating us).
