Have You Ever Noticed?
There's a lot of weird, odd, strange, funny, etc, etc things that go on during Fushigi Yuugi (the series and the OVAs and the manga) and this will be a list of them. If I missed any you think are important or ya just want them up here let me know! You'll get the credit you deserve. On with the list!
H.Y.E.N.?
- How completly out of character one of Mitsukake's final lines was? Why would he want to bring Shoka back to life if he's dead? I could go on about this one from ages....
- How much the twins look like Yui when they (the twins) have their bandanas off?
- When Tasuki says 'PuruPuru!' he says part 2 as well...when was part 1? *never mind...I know now...*
- That FY doesn't have a love triangle, it's like a love polygram or something
- That nearly everyone in the cast either has a crush on/in love with Miaka, Tamahome, Yui or Nakago?
- Val did a count, and out of 13 main characters, only 5 don't want at Miaka in some sexual way ^^;;
- How adorable Nuriko is when he says...just about anything!
- How different the art is on the Star Feastival eppisode
- Same with the one when Chirko dies
- That on the 6th or 7th tape when the credits in English are rolling, Chichiri's seiyuu doesn't get a credit. *Ahh! Poor Seki-sama!!!*
- Same tape/Same credits...Tasuki and Genrou are listed as different people (same seiyuu thou)
- Same goes for Myojuan and Mitsukake
- How out of place the ending theme seems at times? Like when Tamahome finds his family and that genki music is playing in the background
- Umm, if Nuriko lives in ANCIENT China, how would he know what a car and the rest of Miaka's world was like?
- That Nuriko uses 'watashi'...well, that would be a given but Tomo does too!
- That Mitsukake doesn't get many lines, but when he does they're like year long speeches
- No Da seems to be an accent...Hikou says it a lot too (...yea, yea...I know it's explained in the novels why Chiri says it but I can have my own thoughts dammit!!)
- FY has the hottest sets of best friends. Tasuki and Kouji, 'Chiri and Hikou, Keisuke and Tetsuya
- speaking of best friends....don't Hikou and Kouji look a lot alike? I just noticed this...
- How everyone is forever asking Tasuki to kill them? poor guy....
- After being saved from drowning, Miaka's robe keeps switching. Sometimes it's there, other times she's nakked (from Anidragon)
- On the boat to Konnan Miaka takes pictures. How did the seishi know what to do? (From Kiddie)
- That after falling out of the bed @ Taitisukun's place, Tamahome is quite...ummm, excited?
- Taitisukun has a mirror obesssion. Everytime she turns around she's got some sort of mirror
- Of all the seishi only Nuriko really seems to have a wardrobe (from Kou Kagerou)
- And Chichiri has NO costume changes what so ever!
- They never say Tama-neko's name in the dubb! (from Kou Kagerou)
