Okay, this is your basic overview of FY that like every FY site has. It will be relativly spoiler-free *shock* and if you've never seen the show, it will give you an idea of what it is and is about. If you have seen the series, why are you here? You know what happens! Oh well...Eppisode summaries, my thoughts, and major spoilers will be up on the site at a later time...I'm gonna stop rambling now...
Yuuki Miaka and Hongo Yui (lasts names first...) are best friends and are planning to go to the same high school. Yui is a genius so she'll get in anywhere easily while Miaka is...not so smart, but she's trying for the hardest school to make her mother happy. One day while the girls are studying at the library they come across the 'Important Documents Reference Room' which is supposed to be locked and patrons aren't allowed in it. Needless to say, that day it was open and Miaka and Yui went in. They found a strange book called 'Universe of the Four Gods' and begin to read it...and get sucked in.
The girls wake up to find themselves in the middle of nowhere and in trouble with local slave traders (I believe that's what they were...)and are saved by a boy with the mark of Oni *read: ogre* on his forehead. At this point Yui disappers and Miaka is left to fend for herself.
Yui reads the book in the real world while Miaka (after a series of 'interesting' events) becomes Suzaku no Miko *read:the priestess of Suzaku* and has to gather her 7 seishi who are named: Tamahome, Hotohori, Nuriko, Chichiri, Tasuki, Mitsukake and Chiriko. She found three rather fast and has to get the rest.
Oh, and of course there is opposition. The priestess of Seriyuu is also needed at this point in time and they get her. Her seishi *read: celestial warriors* are: Nakago, Suboshi, Amiboshi, Soi, Tomo, Ashitare and Miboshi.
And the story progresses from there and you're gonna have to watch to find out what happens!! Haha!
