The most cannon of the cannon. Miaka and Tamahome. They make everyone sick with the whispering of each others names over and over but come on...ya gotta admit you they're cute. I think they're a great couple, even if they do brake up every few eppisodes. I'm glad the gods gave them a break.
Nakago and Soi, these two are a sad story. Poor Soi, she loved him so much and he's just a heartless bastard. *cries for the pretty prostitute* In the end thou, after she died I think Nakago realised how much she ment to him and that he loved her too, somewhere deep in that lil black heart of his. At least, that's what I'm hopping for considering her carried around her dead body for how long? Maybe he's just a necrophillac *shudders @ thought*
Another tragic couple, but not quite as sad as N&S. If you don't know the story of Mitsukake and Shoka, then ya should go watch eppisode 16 or read Mits' profile. It seems thou, in the OVA that they are reborn together...as siblings...
Tokaki and Subaru!!! These two are so much fun! Did anyone else die of shock when they turned young and gorgeous?! Sorry, off topic. Subaru must have some saint's patience to deal with Tokaki, but then again I've heard she's almost as bad. They're just made for each other I suppose. *shruggs and drools over Tokaki until Subaru kicks her away*
I'm not sure whether I should consider this cannon or not...Suboshi certinly wishes it were. I think Yui was a lil too jaded to ever think anything serious for Suboshi but they still made a sweet couple. His dedication to her was wonderfully romantic. He even ditched his anki for her...
Another one that I'm not quite sure about cannon-ness. Nuriko certinally adores Hotohori, or his "feminine" side does. Still, they're one of my fave FY couples. I honestly think that if Hoto-sama wasn't emperor, he would have gave in to Nuriko's advances and they would have been perfectly wonderful together. Not to mention being the most gorgeous couple anyone ever laid eyes on...
Why does everyone think I'm crazy/disgusting for liking twincest? Honestly, it's not my bag in real life, I just think the 'boshi twins are closer than most twins are. And they're so good looking that who wouldn't want to watch?! (so sue me...I'm a bit shallow ;p) Even Watase-sama herself has said these two are closer that normal. Eh, in the end though, Subbi-chan ditches Amiboshi for Yui. Jeez, whatever happened to loyalty?

Time to start on my Tasuki slash. I tend to slash my fave charcters on shows, and since Tas-chan is my fave bishonen EVER he has many partners. First off, Kouji. His 'best friend' LOL. I think these two go well beyond friends, prolly some one to have fun with when the mountain got borring. I don't think they're destined to be together or anything, this ones just for fun ;)
Tasuki's got a big crush on Tamahome, that's just obvious. Check out the way he's hanging all over him in this pic <== I think Tas-chan has a crush on Tama because he was the first who ever rivaled his fighting skills and even thou he pretends he doesn't care, he really admires him for it.
This is a couple I only started liking recently, after rewatching the first half of the series. Tasuki and Nuriko are obviously very close, and since Tas doesn't like girls and Nuriko is gay, they were perfect together. I adore them in the 'Star Festival' eppisode. They were acting like parents to Miaka. Wonder what they did when Miaka ran off. *giggles and winks* Sadly thou, Nuriko dies, and who takes it the hardest but Tasuki. Too bad for that, but with that comes my fave FY couple of all.
*drumroll* I LUV TASxCHI!!!!! *glomps* These two are my fave FY couple!! They're sooooo wonderful together. Chichiri is the only person who can put up with Tasuki and keep his temper from flaring. Tasuki makes the monk smile and even got him to go drinking. They're the only Suzaku surviors and stay together for the 2 years between Miaka's visits. What else can I say besides they're perfect together? *big sigh*
I got an e-mail about this pairing and since I know there's more than one person in the world who likes it, I put it up.
Miaka and Tasuki certinly have some kind of relationship between them and it can be interpreted as love I suppose. Tasuki serves as a surogate big brother to Miaka and is obviously jelous of Tamahome, so maybe him liking (loving...) Miaka is at the core of it.
If I wasn't a huge yaoi fan, and since I'm usually against cannon, I'd probably like this pairing. I know I'm obsessed with the pic where Tasuki is giving her CPR ^_~
