WILLOW
Willow Rosenberg
was your everyday High School nerd until Buffy Summers arrived in Sunnydale.
Things in Willow's life began to change the first day Buffy arrived.
Willow learned of the existence of Vampires and demons. She was even
tricked into helping a demon come to life.
Willow's friend since childhood, Xander, had no idea that she was completely
in love with him. Her focus wass diverted when she met Oz and the two
instantly became a great couple. Willow began to learn magic and helped
Buffy defeat more than one demon. She even returned Angel's soul, but not
before Buffy had to kill him.
Willow's long
dream of Xander noticing her finally came true when they kissed while preparing
for the homecoming dance. They began an illicit affair and were finally
caught when Oz and Cordy come to rescue them from Spike. Oz broke up with
Willow, but finally realized that he couldn't be without her. Willow and
Oz finished high school strong and even began college as a couple.
It was Oz's turn
to break Willow's heart when a female werewolf diverted Oz's attention and he
realized that he can't control the wolf in him and he left Sunnydale.
Willow's heartache caused danger to all of those around her when she tried to
cast a spell to have her will done.
In a wicca group, Willow met a fellow witch named Tara and began to spend a lot
of time with her. Eventually the two fell in love. Things in
Willow's life began to look good again when Oz returned to Sunnydale, with the
wolf under control: he came back to be what she needed. Oz learnt of
Willow and Tara's relationship and was thrown back out of control. He
realised that he can't be around Willow and left Sunnydale again. Willow
realised there would always be a special place in her heart for Oz, but that
right now she needed to be with Tara, and their relationship grew from
there. With
Tara's knowledge and encouragement, Willow's magickal abilities have become
stronger, and she has been a dynamic ally in Buffy's fight against evil.
Once shy and hesitant, she has become confident and strong, pulling the group
together when they seemed close to falling apart.
