My Stevie Nicks Page

For as long I can remember I have been a Stevie Nick's Fan. As far as I am concerned she is one of the greatest story tellers in today's music business. One of my dreams for a long time had been to be able to see her in a live performance. Where I used to live at the time, you had to drive an hour or two just to get to a place where you could see a concert. About 15 years ago I had gotten tickets to go see her in concert. I got real good seats at an outdoor theater. Where I lived on the East coast, good concerts where far and few in between. A day or two before the concert a huge tornado hit the area where the outdoor theater was. There were huge trees all around the theater. The tornado knocked down trees, uprooted trees and destroyed the stage that Stevie Nicks was supposed to perform on. Needless to say, there was so much damage done to the stage and surrounding areas that the concert was cancelled. Not only that but because there was so much damage done, the concert was not rescheduled. It had taken from then until this past august for another opportunity for me to be able to see her in concert. I have seen her many times perform with Fleetwood Mac, but I had never had a chance to see her perform as a solo artist. I had a real scare the day of the concert, Stevie was sick and postponed the concert date. When the night of the concert came I felt so lucky to have seen her and so glad to be living in an area where that was possible. The night of the concert everything went off without a problem, it was really great to finally get to see the artist that I had waited so many years to see. The concert was great, not only did she sing the songs from her new cd, but she sang some of her old songs too. She is mesmerizing to watch and certainly extremely entertaining. It was worth the wait for sure. Thank you Stevie for a wonderful evening!
