When we first meet her, Komugi is a nurse who works for Hospital, the secret organization of mutants run by Richard Vincent. She is very cute and hyperactive. She has the power to form hypodermic needles and scalpels with her hair to use as weapons. She at first loyally follows the members of Hospital like an obedient puppy, but after Kyosuke saves her from being run over by a Kirihara hearse, she turns in her letter of resignation and leaves quietly to join Kyosuke on his quest. She develops a small crush on Kyosuke after he tells her that she seems like a normal girl (to be normal is the wish of all the members of Hospital). She seems very immature at first glance, but it soon becomes apparent that she's aware of a lot. For only being 17, she's seen a lot and still holds onto her innocence, despite her ability to produce ultra violent attacks. She cares deeply for both Kyosuke and Richard and pleads with them not to fight one another. She remains by Kyosuke's side throughout the television show. Shecan also make cute outfits appear from seemingly nowhere. Some include a cat, a bunny, a school uniform, even the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (watch and all).
