The Rose Bed along the property line of the North Lawn was planted in the Fall of 2001. The neighbor's dogwoods make a lovely backdrop for the bed. Roses in this bed include: Scentimental, William Lobb, Barronne Prevost, Safrano, and Duchesse de Montebello.
. In the spring of 2004, I extended the bed and added an arbor. In the new section, the roses are: Elie Beauvillain, planted to grow up the arbor, Rosette Delizy, Francis Dubreuil, and Red Smith's Parrish. I also added Angel's Camp Tea to the bed. | ||||
