New arrivals, Romance and Depression

It was the first day of school and everyone was getting ready.

Meanwhile at Sora’s house.  “Mom! Dad! I’m off for the first day of school!  Mom?” Sora looked around the outside of her room.  Her mom was washing dishes and staring into space.  “Yes, dear,” she finally said.  Soras mom always did that, but lately she had been kind of grumpy and very silent.  Sora didn’t know why. Her dad was still sleeping. “Mom!  I can’t wait!  Matt is in my classes!  Ahhhhhh!!!!!!” Sora said excitedly and jumping around.  She skipped out the door and hummed a little song.

Meanwhile at Mimi’s house.  “What to wear…hmmmmm.  No way!” Mimi said as she looked in the mirror.  She changed into a green T-shirt, black mini skirt and orange vest.  “Ohhhhh!  Sexy!”  Mimi said to herself.  She put on some black buckle boots and combed her hair. “Bye Mommy!  Bye Daddy!” Then she walked out the door and drove her green bug to school.

Meanwhile at Soras bus stop.  “I wonder where everyone is?” she thought to herself.                              Suddenly Davis and Cody jumped out of a bush and yelled, ”RRRRRRAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!”  “Ahhhhhh!” she screamed.  “Why you little!  I’ll pound you until your pulp!”  She started running after Davis and Cody.  They screamed like babies and ran off in another direction.  Sora caught up with Davis since he was so slow and kicked him in the shine since school rules said no violence.  She didn’t really care, but she didn’t want to be caught attacking anyone.  You never know when some ones looking at you.  Cody was fast but he didn’t see Matt so he ran into him.

“What are you doing?  Sora is he bothering you?” Matt said glaring at Cody.  He saw Davis hopping around on one foot holding his shine.  “Did I miss something?”

“They freaked me out!  Kick him!  He deserves it!” she screamed as she caught up with them.  Matt kicked Cody in the shine too and Sora and Matt walked back to the bus stop.  They kissed.  Cody ran back to his house and waited for the time to go to his bus stop.

“Kissing again?” Yolei said as she walked across the street.  Ken was holding her hand.  “Not a bad idea!” she leaned over and kissed Ken.  Ken blushed.

“Good!  I’m not late!  My alarm didn’t go off!” a voice said behind them.  It was Kari.  Tai was lagging behind her.

“Boy, I hope Tai isn’t trying out for track,” Ken kidded.  Izzy and T.K. walked over.

“Matt, you didn’t wait for me!  Oh well, I’m no baby anymore so I can walk by myself,” T.K. said.

“Yah, right,”  Davis joked.  T.K. glared at him and walked over.

“You want a knuckle sandwich for lunch?  I’m in C lunch too remember?” T.K. said making his hand into a fist.

“No thank you,” Davis said stupidly.  The bus pulled up.

“Where are Joe and Mimi?” Tai asked.

“Mimi has a car now, she’s 17 you know,” Sora replied getting on the bus.  They didn’t drive their cars for some stupid reason.

“Wait for me!!!!!” Joe yelled as he ran to the bus stop.  He was carrying a lot of books and had a hard time keeping his glasses on his face.

“There’s Joe, late as usual.  He was late the first day for all of middle and elementary too,” Kari said as she looked out the backseat window.  Tai was talking to Izzy about why he always walks around with a computer or something stupid.  Matt and Sora were in the seat in front of Kari.  Davis  was in front staring out the window with his evil grin on his stupid face.  Probably thinking about the next evil trick he was going to do.  Ken and Yolei were next to Tai.  And T.K. was staring out the window, looking back at Kari, and staring out the window some more.  He finally got up and sat with Kari.  Joe ran up the stairs and sat in the middle of the bus, he opened one of his books and started reading useless information for some stupid reason.

“My mom has been extra grumpy lately and has been on the treadmill a lot too.  I don’t know what’s up,” Sora said to Matt.  Matt gave her a puzzled look.

“I think I know, wait no, I don’t know, maybe she’s bored or something,” Matt said unsure.  Sora looked at the ceiling.  After about 5 minutes they arrived at school.  Joe and Izzy walked towards the hallway of super nerds.  That’s what everyone called the 5th floor because it had all the extremely hard classes that only real smart people went to like computer freaks and bookworms.  Not trying to offend Izzy or Joe though.  Matt and Sora had the same classes all day.  Mimi came to some of Tai’s and some of Yolei and Ken’s classes.  T.K. and Kari were in one grade lower.  They were both 15 so they were probably in 9th grade or something.  (By the way, Davis is 15, Cody is 12, Mimi, Tai, Izzy, Sora and Yolei are17, & Matt, Ken and Joe are 18, but they just turned 18 so they are still in 11th grade with everyone else.

Meanwhile in Health class.  Sora was looking of into space and Matt was probably thinking about his next CD that was coming out. They were talking about all that gross stuff like babies and junk.  Sora started listening and heard something very peculiar.  She knew why her mother was acting so weird now…. She was going to have another baby!

After school

“Matt do you know what!  I’m going to have a new brother or sister!  My mom is having a baby!  Ahhhh!  I can’t believe it!” Sora screamed excitedly in Matt’s face as they got off the bus.  Matt said congratulations and Sora set off running towards home.  “Mom!  Dad!  Why didn’t you tell me!”  She yelled after she got in the door.  Her mom smiled.

“I guess you found out didn’t you, you smart girl.  I’m due in about 5 months and Oh, I’m sorry for being grumpy.  It’s just something you do,” her mom said apologizing.

“Oh, its okay!  Where’s dad?”  Sora asked as she started looking around for him.

“He’s at work, remember?  He got a new job,” she answered.

“Oh, yah!  I’m going to call Mimi!” she shouted as she ran into her room.  She picked up her phone and dialed Mimi’s number.

“Hello?  What do you want!?” Mimi’s mom answered.

“Um…is Mimi there?” Sora said shocked.

“Yes!  I’ll get her!  MIMI!!!!!!” she called in the background.  You could here Mimi walking around. She picked up the phone.

“Sora?  I’m sorry about my mom.  She’s been very strict lately,” she said as she walked into her room and flopped down on her green raindrop patterned bed.

“What?  Oh, not to be rude or anything but has she been working out a lot too all of a sudden?” Sora asked.

“Yes, how did you know?  Is that how your mom was acting?  You never told me why she hung up on me last week,” she answered.

“Oh, sorry about that but I DID find out why she was acting so weird…. She’s going to have a baby!  Quick ask your mom!  Maybe she’s going to have one too!” Sora shouted happily.

“O.K.!  I’ll call you back K?” Mimi answered.  “Bye!”

“Bye!” Sora replied as she hung up her phone.  Mimi called back a few minutes later.

”You were right!  She is going to have a baby!  Ahhhh!  I’m so excited!  We can both be big sisters now!  I can’t wait!  Hey lets go to Kari’s house and tell her!” Mimi said enthusiastically.

“Yah!  Alright!  I’ll call Kari and ask if we can come over!” Sora said.  They hung up and Sora dialed Kari’s number.  “Hi!  Kari?  Oh, hi Tai!  Is Kari there!”

“Hold on I’ll get her, KARI! THE PHONE’S FOR YOU! Tell T.K. too since you guys are just finishing homework together!” Tai shouted as he put the phone down on the table.  You could hear Kari run up to the table.  She picked it up the phone.

“Hello Sora!  Guess what!  My mom is at the hospital, and she….she…. oh I can’t say it!” she said happily.  She caught her breath and said,” SHE’S HAVING MY NEW LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!!  I’M SO EXCITED!!!!(lots of babies huh?)” Kari  managed to say out of breath again.  Sora couldn’t believe it!  Mimi, Kari and herself were all getting new brothers and sisters!  How awesome is that!?

“Really!  So are Mimi and I!  I can’t believe it!  We have so much to tell you!  We’ll come over right now!” Sora shouted.  Kari agreed and Mimi and Sora walked over to Kari’s house.

“This is just cool!” Mimi shouted so that it seemed the whole world could hear her.  She danced around.  Sora joined in.  They knocked on the door.  Kari opened the door and had a huge smile on her face.

“Hi Gals!  Guess what!  My mom is coming home tomorrow with my new baby brother Lei!   Oh, what a cute name!  Oh, sorry, please come in!” Kari said excitedly.  Mimi and Sora walked in and sat on the couch.  Tai walked over to Mimi and came her a kiss.  Mimi and Tai started talking.  Apparently she came over to talk to Tai.

“Well Kari, we are all big sisters now!  Isn’t that just awesome!” Sora said to Kari.  Kari agreed and they started talking for a little bit.  T.K. came out of the bathroom and sat next to Kari.  After dinner and some more talking about babies Sora and Mimi went home.

At the bus stop the next day

“Hey everyone!  Did you hear!  I’m going to have a new brother or sister!  So is Mimi and Kari’s mom just had her brother last night!  Cool huh !?” Sora shouted excitedly.   Kari came running up to the bus stop and Tai was lagging behind again.

“I can’t wait!  Mom, Dad and Lei are coming home today!” Kari screamed at Sora and everyone else.  Tai came up to them.

“Boy, I wonder where he’s going to sleep,” he said as he looked at Kari.  Kari put an evil grin on and said, ”I bet I know where!  Tai’s room!  Mom asked me where I think Lei should sleep and I said your room, so your room it is! Ha! Ha!” The bus turned the corner.

At school

“Time for Math!” T.K. said to Kari as they walked up the stairs to 1st floor.  They walked to room 112.

“I wish Davis wasn’t in my classes, he gives me the willies!” Kari said looking over at Davis.  Davis looked at her and made himself look cool.  She shivered.

Meanwhile in room 592

“I can’t wait until class is over!  I want to get home and see mom!” Sora said to Matt.  Matt smiled and went back to reading something out of his calculus’s book.  The bell rang.  The hallways got crowded and everyone walked out the door to the bus.  Mimi walked into the parking lot and drove home.

“Where’s Izzy?” Kari asked Tai.

“ Teaching a computer class,” he answered.  Kari shifted over to the window.

“How about Joe?” she asked again.  Tai looked over from the seat next to her.

“Doctors have extra classes,” he answered again.  He looked out the window again.

“Davis?” Kari asked glad he wasn’t on the bus.  Tai looked over annoyed.

“Detention! Kari stop being annoying!” he shouted in her face.  He leaned back and stared at the ceiling.  Kari was going to ask if he was excited about being a big brother, but she didn’t.  The bus pulled up to the bus stop.  They all got off and walked home.  Sora and Kari ran home and Tai slowly tried to keep up with Kari.  Sora got in the house and said hi to her mom.  She started to write in her diary about the school day.

Meanwhile

“Mom! Where’s…why are you crying?” Kari asked.

Next day at the bus stop

“Where are Kari and Tai?” Sora asked. ”I want to know about Lei.”

“I dunno,” T.K. said shrugging his shoulders.  Kari and Tai walked across the street.  They both had sad faces.  Sora ran up to them.

“Is everything alright?” she asked worried.  Kari started to cry.  Tai just stood there and pulled Kari towards him comforting her.  Everyone knew something was up, but they didn’t say anything.  They got on the bus silently.  At school Kari and Tai didn’t say much.  Tai said stuff to Mimi and Matt a few times but not much.  After the last bell, everyone got on the bus and went back home.  Izzy, Joe and Davis stayed after again and everyone else walked home the same.  Except for Kari and Tai who walked home slow and quiet again.  Sora ran up to Kari’s side.

“What’s wrong?  I know something is up, so what is it?” Sora asked symthabetically.  Tai looked at her then at Kari.

“Sora? Why don’t you call me when I get home and I’ll explain,” Tai replied looking back at his feet.  Sora understood and walked off towards her house.  She dialed Tai’s number and waited while the phone rang.  Some one picked up.

“Hello?” Tai’s voice asked on the other line.

“Hi, Tai! So what’s up?” Sora asked patiently.

“Well, its my brother…he died when he was born…Kari is extremely upset.  I am too, but I can control myself a little better than she can.  Kari was really looking forward to having a little brother, but…it didn’t work out,” Tai explained.  Sora was astonished.  How cruel!  She felt so bad for Kari.

“Oh, I’m so sorry.  Should I tell everyone else?” she asked calmly.

“Yah, I guess so.  They have a right to know.  Well, be seein’ yah,” Tai said.  Sora said bye and hung up.  She couldn’t believe it!  Poor Kari!  For some reason she had that feeling when you get when you think you did something, but you really didn’t do a thing.

After phoning everyone else Sora lay on her bed and looked at her ceiling.  “What would happen if that happened to my brother or sister?” Sora thought to herself.  “I don’t know what I would do….”

5 months later

It was January and New Year’s had just ended.  Kari and Tai had put their brothers death behind them and started focusing on school again.  Matt and Sora were kissing at the bus stop again when Mimi walked over.

“Mimi?  I thought you drove?” T.K. asked her.

“I do, but my mom went into labor last night and they used my car to get there since my car was still running.  I went to cheerleading practice and had just gotten in the driveway,” she said.  Everyone smiled.  Kari frowned remembering her brother, but then put a smile on when she thought of how happy Mimi must be.

“My mom is due any day now,” Sora said to Mimi.  They started talking about girl things when the bus turned the corner.  They all got on in practically the same places as the first day of school. Except that Matt was talking to Tai, Mimi was wrapping her hair around her finger and talking to Sora who was doing the same, Izzy and Joe were talking about things that pertained to super nerd classes and Yolei was talking to Kari while Ken and T.K. talked to each other.  Davis missed the bus.  The bus pulled up to the school and everyone got off.

At lunch

Sora, Matt, Mimi, Tai and Izzy were outside talking under a tree.

“Dad called and said they would come home on Sunday!” Mimi said excitedly. (It is Friday right now)  Sora smiled at her.

“I wonder what my mom’s doing right now.  Probably exercising,” Sora answered.  The lunch bell rang and everyone went back to their classes.

At the bus stop

Matt and Sora kissed and went home, Izzy and Joe were still talking about the same thing, T.K. and Kari hugged and went home, and Mimi came over to Sora’s house.  Ken and Yolei walked home holding hands and Davis was hiding in the bush in front of Matt.

“RRRRRAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!” Davis yelled as he jumped out of the bush.  Matt stood there and gave him a get lost look.  Davis was confused and just walked of towards nowhere.  Sora and Mimi walked into Sora’s room and sat down on her bed.

“No one’s here!  My mom is probably at the hospital!  AHHHHHHH!!!!! She’s having my new brother or sister!  I wish she was home right now!” Sora screamed happily in Mimi’s ear.

“I wonder what your going to have, bro or sis?” Mimi questioned Sora.  Suddenly the phone rang.  Sora picked it up.

“Hello?  Oh Hi Dad!  What is it? A boy!? What did you name it? Jusco!? Oh, how cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Sora yelled in the phone.  They talked for a few minutes.  “ You need to get of the phone now?  Okay I’ll let you go dad, bye!”  She hung up.  Mimi and Sora started talking for a while.  “I asked my dad if you could sleep over and he said sure!”  Sora said to Mimi.  The phone rang again.

“Hello? Yes she is, just a sec,” Sora said in the phone.  She handed the phone to Mimi,” It’s your dad.  He said he figured you were over here.” Mimi took the phone and talked for a while.

“Dad? Can I sleep over at Soras?  I can?! O.K.! See yah Sunday! Bye Daddy! Love yah!” Mimi finished saying.  She hung up the phone.  “It’s a boy and they named it Airoui!  What a cute name!  Don’t you think?”

“Yah!  Let’s drive my red bug over to your house and pick up your stuff!” Sora answered.

“Let’s pick up Tai and Matt too!” Mimi added.  They went and picked the guys up and went to Mimi’s house.  She grabbed her green PJs and a brush.(figures)  then they drove to the park.  At the park Sora and Mimi got more then they expected at the park then just sitting and talking.

“Tai should I do it know?” Matt whispered in Tai’s ear.

“Yah,” Tai answered quietly.  Matt walked in front on Sora and sat next to her.

“Um…Sora…I have something to say…. Will you be my Fiancé?” Matt asked as he held out a small ring box.  He opened it and inside was a ruby engagement ring that was the most beautiful thing Sora had every seen since Kindergarten when she saw Matt for the first time.

“Oh, Matt!  I don’t know what to say!” she yelled excitedly.

“Say Yes,” Mimi said smiling at Sora.  Sora smiled back and then turned back to Matt.

“Yes!  I love you Matt!  I love you!” Sora answered to him.  They kissed and Matt slid the ring on her finger.  Sora looked at it and kissed Matt again.  Tai walked in front of Mimi.

“Mimi?  Will you be my Fiancé?’ Tai said as he sat down next to her and pulled out a ring box.  He opened it and inside was a gold ring with a raindrop shaped aquamarine stone in the middle.

“Tai!  Oh, how can I resist!” she answered as she kissed Tai.  Tai slipped the ring on her finger and they kissed again.  After the engagements they went home.

“Want to go to a movie tomorrow night girls?” Tai asked as he started to open the door to his house,” Matt said he’s comin’ too.”  (Matt was already dropped off)

“Sure!” Mimi and Sora said together.

“What time ya pickin’ us up?” Mimi yelled out the window.

“Movies at 7:00!  Pick you up at 6:45. K?” Tai answered back.

“Great!  See yah tomorrow!” Sora said as they drove off.

Next day(9:00 a.m.)

“Wake up sleepy head!” Sora shouted at Mimi who was still sleeping.  Mimi cracked her eyes open.

“What?  Oh, sorry.  I usually sleep late on the weekends,” Mimi said.  She got up and brushed her hair.  Sora poured some cereal and was watching T.V. while eating hers.  She was done by the time Mimi came out.

“What took yah?” Sora asked her.  Mimi grabbed her cereal and sat down on the couch.

“My hair wasn’t smooth, so I had to brush it about 15 times,” she answered.  Sora laughed and watched some more T.V.

5:00 p.m.

“Guys are going to pick us up in about an hour and 45 minutes so lets start getting ready K?” Sora said to Mimi.  They started brushing their hair.  Mimi brushed her hair for about 15 minutes saying it was still not smooth.  They put on their engagement rings and played Chutes and Ladders until the guys came.

After the movie

“Thanks guys!  Love yah Tai baby!” Mimi shouted out before walking in the door.

“See yah rock star!” Sora yelled at Matt’s window.  Matt poked his head out the window.

“See yah Sunshine!” he answered back.  Sora smiled and walked inside.

Sunday

“My mom is coming home today!  I want to go home and wait for her!  Call yah when I get home Sora!”  Mimi said as she skipped out the door.  Sora said bye and sat down waiting for her mom.  About 10 minutes of playing Candy Land by herself she heard the door open.

“MOM!  DAD!  I’M SO GLAD YOUR HOME!” she shouted as she ran over to the door.  Her baby brother was wrapped up in her mom’s arms.  Her dad was smiling at him.

“Hello Honey! Come see your new brother, Jusco,” her mom said.  Sora walked over and saw him.  He was the cutest thing in the world(besides Matt)!  She asked if she could hold him.

10 minutes later

RING!  The phone rang.  It was Mimi.

“Hi Mimi!  Did your brother come home?” Sora asked.

“Yes!  He is adorable!  Did your brother come home too?” Mimi asked.

“Yes!  He’s a cutie!” Sora answered.  Sora and Mimi talked for a while and said goodbye.  “My little bro is sooooo cute!  I don’t know what I would do if something happened to him.”

February 13th

“Mimi!  Guess what tomorrow is!?”  Sora asked.  Her and Mimi were at lunch.  Tai, Matt and T.K. were sitting in a tree talking about things.  Kari and Yolei were doing nothing worth mentioning and Ken, Izzy, and Joe were under a tree studying. (Ken joins Izzy with some of his classes)

“It’s Valentines Day,” Mimi answered looking over at Tai.  Tai looked back, smiled and went back to talking with Matt and T.K.  Sora looked up at Matt.  He jumped down and walked over.  Tai and T.K. kept talking about something stupid like why woodchucks chuck wood or something.

“Hey, baby.  Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, and I’m through in’ a big bash at my house!  I’m invitin’ you, Mimi, Tai, T.K., Kari, Yolei, Ken and Izzy.  Joe said he has to study for some big important test or something, Davis is too much of a dork and Cody’s got stick practice or whatever he calls it,” Matt explained.  He kissed Sora.

After School

“Mom? Dad? Where are you?  I want to ask you something!”  Sora said as she walked in the door to her house.  She could smell something in the kitchen.  MMMMMM!!!!!  PIZZA!!!!  She ran into the kitchen.  Her dad was eating a slice and her mom was feeding Jusco.  “Can I go to Matts party tomorrow?  Its for Valentines Day!”

“Sure Hun,” her dad said with a mouth full of pizza.  Sora smiled and walked over to her mom.

“How’s my little brother?” she asked in a sweet voice while tickling her brothers nose.  He squirmed.  Sora giggled.

On the way to the Bash

“Howde do Mimi?” Sora asked as Mimi opened the door to her house.

“Boo-Ya!  Let’s go to the Bash!  Oh, by the way…. I promised Kari, Tai and Izzy we’d pick them up.  Is that O.K.?” Mimi questioned.

“Of course!  Oh, my dad said he would call me when they went out.  They’re goin’ to Acapulco and need some one to baby-sit Jusco.  If you want you can come with me,” Sora asked.  Mimi said sure and they went to pick up the others.

At the Bash

“Hiya Girls!” T.K. said as Sora and Mimi walked in.  Izzy was typing something on his computer when he walked in and Kari and Tai walked in last.  Mimi and Tai walked into Matt’s living room, which was decorated with hearts, ribbons and little cupid thingies.

“Hey Matt!  What’s with the cupid thingies?” Tai asked as he saw Matt come out from the kitchen.  He was carrying a tray of heart shaped cookies.

“Huh?  Oh, I don’t know.  My dad thought they were cute for some reason,” Matt answered.  T.K. walked over to Kari.

“My mum let me come over so I could be with you,” T.K. said to her smiling.

“Yah right, but I don’t care,” Kari answered kissing him.  Sora walked over to Matt and kissed him.  He blushed like he did every time.  The party went on for a while.  Mimi was struttin’ her stuff on Matt’s stage in the basement.  Sora, Mimi, Kari and Yolei danced to a song sexily and sang, “Play with me”(Cool world CD.)  Tai and Matt got up and sang, “Until I got High.” The phone rang a few times, but no body heard it because the music was so loud.

At Sora’s house

“Hun?  No one’s been answering.  Maybe I should go over to Matt’s house and see if everything is O.K… you think you’d be alright with Jusco?” Sora’s dad asked his wife.

“I don’t know why she’s not answering.  Be careful though, a storms coming, and take Jusco with you I NEED to go to Paola’s house and tell her something.  She has something for me anyway,” she told him.  He smiled, grabbed Jusco and walked out the door.  She was right it had gotten very cloudy and it started to rain very heavily.   He got in his car, put Jusco in his car seat and started to drive towards Matt’s house.  He started to swerve but got control back.  A semi truck was in front on him and was swerving too.  A little too much.  The driver stopped suddenly to regain control.  Sora’s dad stopped just before hitting the rear end.

“That was close… people should be more careful!  Especially at a time like this!” he shouted at the windshield and slamming his hand on the driving wheel.  The semi started to move again more steadily.  It turned of the road onto another street.  A big truck was in the other lane coming opposite of him.  It too started to swerve and just barely missed running into Sora’s dad.  “Jesus!  How do these people survive out here!” he yelled at the windshield again.  Suddenly the car in front of him backed up not noticing him and ran into the front of his car.  Sora’s dad had a frightened face but luckily it only smashed the muffler in front. Jusco started to cry but he quieted him. The woman in the car got out and ran over to the window.

“Oh my Gosh!  I’m so sorry!  I’ll pay for the damage!  I didn’t see you!” she started to cry.  Sora’s dad was about to say something but looked at the lady.  She was young and looked just like a friend of Sora’s.

“Say, you look just like Yolei,” he said to her weeping face.  She looked at him and stopped crying.

“Sora’s dad?  Oh, my.  I…I,” she tried to say,  “I was on my way back from the party and I was having trouble with my car.  I was going to go forward but I guess I accidentally changed it to reverse.”  She started to look like she was going to cry again.  He put a hand up to tell her to stop.

“It’s alright, by any chance is Sora still over there?  Is everything all right?  I tried to call a few times but no one answered,” he asked her.

“Yes, everything’s alright and Sora is still over there.  I’m sorry we didn’t hear the phone.  We were dancing in Matt’s basement and I guess the music was too loud,” Yolei said calmly.  He smiled glad everything was O.K.  He told her not to worry about the car and she frowned.

“Are you sure?” she asked thinking everything in the world was her fault at the moment.  He said yes and she smiled at Jusco before driving off.  He smiled.

“Such a sweet girl,” he said to himself.  He started up his car and started to turn around.  Suddenly a big truck started sliding towards him from the opposite lane.  Sora’s dad could see the driver had no control over the car.  It happened just like that.  His car was hit so hard it started rolling down into the ditch.  4, 5, 6 times it rolled.   Sora’s dad’s body hung lifeless out of the window.  And Jusco’s cries as they were hit would never be heard again.

Sora was starting to get worried because it was it was midnight and her dad said he would call hours ago.  She phoned her mom.  “Sora?  Get home right away!” her mom yelled in the phone.  Sora gasped.  Was it her brother?  Her dad?

“Matt I have to get home right away!  My mom told me it’s an emergency!” she screamed as she ran downstairs into the basement.  Matt saw the fear in her eyes and told her to go right away.  Sora jumped in her car and speed towards her house.  She saw her house and pulled up on the road next to it.  There were police cars in the driveway and she saw her mom talking to one of the police officers crying.  Sora jumped out of her car and ran up to her mom.  Her mom saw her and started to cry even harder as she walked over to her.

“Sora,” her mom said weeping,” your father and Jusco got in an…an…. Accident!”  She started to cry like her foot just got cut off.  She hugged Sora hard and Sora started to cry.

“NO!  NO!  IT CAN’T BE!” she yelled out loud.

The next day at school

“Where’s Sora?” Matt asked Tai and Kari as they came out the door with some greasy pizza.  It was lunchtime.  They shrugged.  Mimi walked over.

“I know why,” she said quietly with a sad impression on her face.  Matt frowned and walked over to Mimi.  Tai, Kari, and T.K. walked over too.  They sat down.  Izzy, Joe, Ken, Yolei and Davis joined them.  “Her dad and brother died last night in a car accident,” she explained trying not to cry.  She hated it when people died and she put herself in Sora’s body crying for her internally.  “She’s at the funeral.”  She started to cry.  Everyone had a shocked face.  Matt looked into the sky and thought about Sora more deeply than ever before.  The lunch bell rang.

After the funeral

“My live is so mean.  First my grandparents, then my own father and my new baby brother!”  Sora thought to herself after she got home.  She pulled out her diary and started to write:  Dear Diary,

If only God had made my live worth living.  Matt was the only excitement, but its not enough.  This is my last entry, Forever.  Sora

She put her diary away and walked slowly out of her house.  She walked to the park and went to the digital world.  She shuffled aimlessly around until she found the spot where they had first meet Kawuagumon.  She looked over the cliff.  She started to inch away but told herself not to.  “If only…” were her last words as she threw herself over the edge and onto the rocks below.  The last thing that came to mind was a flashback of the policemen at her door, Kari’s brother’s death and her first kiss by Matt.

The story started so lively but ended painfully.  Sora is my favorite character but sometimes her life with just her mom looks so mean.  If she had a choice she probably wouldn’t have jumped but for Sora the only reason to jump was to end her life quickly.  She thought her life was so bad but what about all the good times with Matt’s first kiss, hanging with Mimi and when she first got to know her friends at camp in first season.  To her, life was nothing but what about how Matt, Mimi and every one else?  What about the people, who never saw their parents, live in an orphanage or were slaves a long time ago?  How do you think they felt?  If I were you I’d get a good look at your life before you try anything like suicide.  Look deeply into the best times.  Maybe the last paragraph can teach you how important your life really is.
