Who’s the murderer?

 

“We’ve just been called to the Digital World for some reason, again,” Mimi explained as she started walking towards Tai’s house with Sora.

 

 Sora sighed giving Mimi a whatever look and saying,” It’s not THAT bad is it?”  Mimi started twirling her hair around her finger and popped the bubble she was blowing with her gum.

 

“Yes it is!  I can’t have anytime with my stud muffin if we keep having to go to the Digital world!” she answered blowing another bubble.  Tai saw them in the window and rushed outside.

 

“Mimi!  My darlin’ where have you been all my life!?” he serenaded out with his arm open.  Mimi smiled.

 

“Oh, your such a sissy,” she said throwing her arms around him and planting a kiss on his cheek.  Tai blushed.  Sora put her hands on her hips and made a disgusting face.

 

“If only Matt was here I’d show you what REAL kissing is!” Sora huffed out at them.  Suddenly someone came up behind Sora and snapped her bra strap.  She turned around but no one was there.   She took out her mirror and pretended to look in it when she was really looking behind her.  Sure enough she saw Matt come out of the bush behind her and pinch her butt.  She turned around.

 

“Ah hah!  I knew it was you!  You creampuff!” she said as Matt tried to hide again.  He stood up and brushed his pants off.  He smiled devilishly.  They started French kissing.  Matt had lipstick all over his lips when they were done.  They still had their arms around each other smiling.  Mimi spat out her tongue and French kissed Tai.  They started competing against each other to see who could do the best kiss.  Sora won when she started making noises, French kissing like heck and starting to take Matt’s jacket off.  Mimi crossed her arms and thought, I’ll never beat her.  Why do I bother?

 

“Why do you always do better than me!?” Mimi shouted impatiently at Sora.

 

“Forget it Mimi, you’ll never beat me.  I’m just to good,” she answered. “Matt baby, we’ve got to go to the Digital World,” Sora said to Matt sweetly. 

 

“Jennai, once again, needs our help,” Mimi said sternly at Sora. She jumped into Tai’s arms trying to look more romantic.  He smiled with lipstick all over his lips from Mimi.

 

“Well are we the only ones that know?” Matt asked.

 

“Yes,” Mimi said still glaring madly at Sora.

 

“I’ll go tell Kari!” Tai said throwing arms up in the air.  Mimi fell on the ground with a thud.

 

“OUCH!  Tai how dare you!” she screamed standing up.  Tai got a scared look and ran behind Matt.  Matt crossed his arms and looked at Tai.

 

“Baby,” Matt said to him.  Mimi clenched her fists and stomped over to Tai’s door.  She knew Sora was looking at her and she hated it when she did.  She probably thought she was a loser.

 

“I’ll tell Kari!” she huffed out reaching Tai’s door.  She knocked.  Kari’s face showed up in the window as she looked outside.  She opened the door.

 

“Hi Mimi!  Whats up?” Kari asked Mimi.  Mimi straightened herself and slipped a piece of hair behind her ear.

 

“Your brothers angel that’s what’s going to be flying up soon!  Why that little creep!  I’ll punch his head off his body!” she roared.  Kari crossed her arms and put on a smirk smile when she saw Tai hiding behind Matt.  Tai fell backward when he had crouched down and tried to pick a flower for Mimi.

 

“Let me guess… he dropped you again didn’t he?” Kari guessed looking back at Mimi.

 

“Yah, except last time he dropped me into a puddle!  He was supposedly carrying me across it but he dropped me instead!” she spat out blowing another bubble.

 

“Come on Mimi!  We don’t have all day!  Just tell her so we can go!” Sora shouted cupping her hands over her mouth.  Mimi got one of those veins on her forehead glaring at her again.  She’s so rude, she thought.  Sora smirked and kissed Matt.  Mimi knew she was showing off.

 

“Jennai told us he needs our help, can you round up the gang and meet us at the park?” Mimi asked Kari.

 

“Sure, I’ll see what I can do,” Kari replied.  Mimi strutted over to Tai who was still on his back looking around.  She held out her hand.  Tai grabbed it and she pulled him up.

 

“This is for dropping me!” Mimi shouted kicking him in the shin. 

 

Tai hopped around on one foot going, “Ahhh, it burns, its on fire!”  Mimi looked proud of herself.

 

“Way to go girl!” Sora said high fiving Mimi.  But just before hitting Sora swung her hand back making Mimi miss and stumble.  She fell.  Tai stopped hopping around and helped her up.

 

“Why’d you do that?” Tai asked her winking.

 

“I saw that you nit!” Mimi said punching him in the stomach.  “You don’t really give a crap about me!”  She kicked Sora and Tai.  Tai hobbled around some more while Sora just stood there.  She’d get Mimi back somehow.

 

“Come on, let’s just go to the park,” Sora said putting her arms around Matt and kissing.  Mimi clenched her fists again.

 

“Stop it you twit!” she shouted charging at Sora.  Tai had fallen on the ground and grabbed her ankle. She fell and swung a punch at Tai’s head.  “I can’t stand it anymore!  I HATE SORA!!!!!”

 

“Is it a crime to kiss someone?” Sora asked devilishly.  “I don’t think so.”

 

“Yah, now are we going to the park or not?” Tai asked letting go of Mimi’s ankle.  She got up and brushed the little bits of dirt and grass off her skirt.  She turned towards the park and started walking.  Matt and Sora held hands and followed. Tai got up and lagged behind. 

 

At the park

 

“We’ve been waiting here for hours!”  Where is everyone?!” Mimi shouted.  She was standing next to the slide.  Tai sipped past her going down it.  Matt and Sora were up in a tree probably kissing.

 

“Relax Mimi, WEEEEEEEE!!!!!  We’ve only been here for about 5 minutes,” Tai said going down again.  Ken walked around the corner.

 

“Hi, guys! Kari, T.K., Izzy and Davis should be here soon too,” Ken explained to Mimi and Tai.  Tai went over to the swing and started swinging.

 

“Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!” Tai said as he jumped of the swing and landed with his face in the sand.   Ken chuckled and then turned around when he heard voices behind him.  It was Davis who was trading punches with T.K.

 

“I said I am going out with Kari!” Davis shouted hitting T.K. in the stomach.

 

“No me stupid!” T.K. yelled poking him in the eye.

 

“Ouch!  Kari will go out with ME!” Davis shouted as they continued.

 

“My calculations say this could go on forever,” Izzy explained coming around the corner and typing on his laptop, which he ALWAYS carried around.  Davis and T.K. stopped and turned to Kari.  Kari just stood there and stared at them.

 

“Who do you want to go out with?” Davis asked making himself look cool which he really didn’t.

 

“T.K.,” she answered.  T.K. smiled and poked Davis in the eye one last time.

 

“Ouch!” Davis said turning to Tai who was brushing sand off his face.

 

“Hey!  Give me my goggles Twerp,” Tai said taking the goggles off Davis’s head.  Davis started to cry and went over and sat on a bench pulling his hair out.  Tai tried to put on the goggles.  “What did he do he do?  Shrink them?”  He fiddled with them some more.

 

“My calculations say comparing Davis’s brain size to the goggles size would say his goggles were fit perfectly to the size most likely of his brain,” Izzy explained.  Matt and Sora jumped out of the tree.

 

“Figures,” they said together.

 

“Ready to go to the Digital World guys?” Tai asked throwing the goggles into the river.

 

“NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!” Davis screamed jumping in the river after them.

 

“I am not a guy, I am a hot chick!” Mimi said to Tai flattering her eyes.

 

“Yah, right,” T.K. answered.

 

“You want to have a flat face the rest of the week Puni?!” Mimi asked clenching her teeth and tightening her fist putting it up to his face.

 

“Aaahh… no thanks,” he replied backing away.

 

‘Why aren’t Yolei, Joe and Cody here?” Matt asked Kari who was leaning against a tree.

 

“I called Joe, but his mom said he blew up when he was studying too hard.  I called Yolei but her mom said she blew up thinking too hard about Ken.  I called Cody, but when he answered and I asked him if wanted to go to the Digital World he said,” mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMM BOOM!!!!!”  I guess he blew up,” Kari explained.  Everyone shrugged. 

 

In the Digital World

 

“Well, here we are!” Davis said putting his wet goggles back on.  He was soaked from being in the river.  Everyone started looking for Jennai, but since they couldn’t find them they decided to set up camp.  And since the time was so different from the real world it didn’t really matter how long they stayed.  Besides, it was summer.  They all sat down and made a fire.

 

“I wish there was a cave!  I’m freezing!” Sora said shuddering.  Matt pulled her closer.

 

“That wouldn’t make a difference.  It would be just as cold, and besides, I like it out here!” Mimi said stretching her legs.  Kari sat down on a rock and huddled close to T.K.  Ken and Izzy were talking about the Internet and Tai and Davis were playing with sticks.

 

“Well, I wish the fire was hotter!” Sora yelled at Mimi.

 

“Why don’t you go get some wood?” Mimi smirked crossing her arms.  Sora spat out her tongue and stood up.

 

“Fine, I will star head!” she shouted marching off into the forest mumbling. 

 

It had been a few minutes when Tai asked,” Where’s Mimi?”

 

“She went to go find something to eat,” T.K. explained.  Matt started looking worried because Sora hadn’t come back yet.  Suddenly an ear-piecing scream filled the air.  Everyone stood up and got frightened looks on their faces.  Mimi ran out with some fruit and a scared look on her face breathless.  She ran into Tai’s arms.

 

“Oh Tai!  I saw Sora and a strange digimon started running for her!  I told her to run but she ignored me!  I ran but she didn’t follow!  I think something terrible happened to her!”  she explained fighting back tears.  Matt’s face turned peer white and he fainted.

 

5 minutes later

 

Matt opened his eyes and suddenly remembered Sora.  “I’m coming Sora!” he shouted bolting into the woods.

 

15 minutes later

 

Matt walked slowly out of the woods.  His face streaked with tears.  He looked up at everyone embarrassed of being seen crying.  He sat down and put his face into his hands and sobbed. Tai walked over to Matt.

 

“You didn’t find her did you…?” Tai asked patiently.

 

“No…” Matt said crying even harder.

 

“There, there Matt.  It’s all right.  Maybe some food will cheer you up,” Mimi asked handing a fruit to him.  He ate it and fell asleep still crying.

 

“I bet Mimi has something to do with this!  Your lying aren’t you!  I think you killed Sora!” Kari yelled getting tears in her eyes.  Sora was her best friend and now she was dead?!  Mimi was the closest one to her she must have done something! 

“Why would you ever think of me doing that?!  I would never do such a thing!  Sora and I have been friends since I meet here in pre-school!” she whimpered throwing her arms in the air.  “You excuse me of everything!”  She squeezed Tai  and started to cry again.

 

“I have my reasons for believing that you killed her and I’m going to stick with you being my murderer!”  Kari replied.

 

“Oh, come on Kari,” Tai pleaded.  “You don’t have to be mean!”

 

“Why don’t we talk about this in the morning guys?” Izzy asked Tai, Mimi and Kari.

 

“Fine!  But I’m sleeping as far away from the murderer as possible!” Kari explained grabbing a fruit and walking behind a big rock.  She ate it and fell asleep.  Mimi and Tai lay down and fell asleep.  Ken and Izzy were probably dreaming about computers while they slept.  Davis sucked his thumb and held one of the sticks close like a teddy bear.

 

Morning

 

Izzy was up before everyone else because he said he had to check something out on the Internet.  Ken was talking to T.K. and Tai and Davis were playing with sticks again.  Kari and Matt were still sleeping.

 

“Izzy?”  Mimi asked trying to brush her hair with her fingers that just got stuck and made it even more tangled.  “Why don’t you try to e-mail Jennai?” 

 

“I’ll give it a try, but first I have to check my e-mail,” Izzy explained.

 

“NOW!!!!” Mimi screamed flicking him in the head.

 

“Alright al right already,” Izzy said coldly rubbing his head.  He punched a few buttons and a little dancing Jennai doing the robot came on the screen.

 

“I am on vacation, please type a message after I finish doing the robot,” the computer said in Jennai’s voice.

 

“WHAT!?  ON VACATION!” Mimi puffed out waving her hands madly.  She stomped over and typed in, you drag me all the way out here looking for nothing!  You suck I never want to see or hear you again!  You don’t know who I am!  So don’t e-mail me back! Mimi

 

“Jennai wouldn’t like that Mimi,” Izzy said.

 

“Whose side are you on!?  That good for nothing old fart or me!”  Mimi screamed in his face making his hair fly back like he was in a blizzard.  Davis started moving one of his sticks around.

 

“Take me out to the ball game!  Take me out to the Cow!” he shouted.

 

“It’s crowd stupid,” Tai exclaimed.  “That song sucks, now listen to mine!  I was goin’ to clean my room before I got high.”  He started moving a hand full of sticks around.  Suddenly Matt ran out from behind the rock.

 

“Guys!  Something is seriously wrong with Kari!” he spat out.  T.K. got up and stood there for a second.  Then he ran behind the rock that Kari slept behind.   Kari was huddled up in a ball and her eyes were steel black darting from side to side.

 

“Are you o.k.?” T.K. asked worried.  Kari started rolling around and diabolically laughing. 

 

“She’s crazy!” Matt yelled coming around the corner followed by Mimi, Tai, Ken and Izzy.  Kari got up and started banging her head against the rock.  Bang! Bang! Bang! 

 

“What the?” Ken sputtered out.  Mimi tried to grab Kari but Kari ran off into the forest.  T.K. ran after her.

 

“My calculations say Kari is crazy!” Izzy explained.

 

“Gee, No.  It never would have come to mind stupid!” Mimi hollered at him flicking him in the head again.  All of a sudden far into the forest they all heard, WWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

10 minutes later

 

T.K. ran out with a pale face.  “My calculations say Kari did something crazy!” Izzy said.  Everyone glared at him.  “I’ll shut up.”

 

“For your information she did!”  T.K. shouted starting to cry.  Davis walked around the corner.

 

“Where’s Kari?” he asked not knowing what happened.  He saw T.K.  “What’s the matter powderhat?  Is baby cold?”  He started laughing and pointing at T.K.  T.K. walked over and punched him so hard in the head he was knocked out.

 

“You were saying?” Matt asked T.K.  T.K. was about to say something when he looked down at the core of the fruit Kari had eaten.  He looked up at  Mimi.  She stared at him.

 

“YOU! he shouted pointing at her.  She looked at him confused.

 

“What?” she asked.  T.K. gave her a dirty look and walked over to her.  He drew his hand back and was ready to punch when someone grabbed his arm before he threw it.  T.K. looked up and saw Tai.

 

“Don’t you hit my girl you pipsqueek!”  Tai shoved him aside and stood in front of Mimi.  “She didn’t do anything.” 

 

“She did too!  Don’t you see?  Mimi wants to kill us all!  She brought poisonous fruit back with her last night!  Kari ate it and got high of the poison!  That’s why Kari was acting so weird!  That’s why she jumped off the cliff!  Mimi probably killed Sora too!”  T.K. screamed in her face.  Everyone stared at him.

 

“WHAT?!  NEVER!” Mimi shouted starting to cry.  “WHY DOES EVERYBODY THINK I KILLED EVERYONE?!” she sobbed running into Tai’s arms.  Tai hugged her tight and gave T.K. a sour look. 

 

“Mimi?  Did you know those fruit were poisonous?” Ken asked.

 

“No!  Not at all!  At Girl Scout Camp we learned which fruits were edible and what not!  I definitely would have known if it was poisonous!” she screamed crying harder.

 

“KARI WAS RIGHT!” T.K. screamed running into the forest.  Everyone stood there for a few minutes and then went back to what they were doing this morning.

 

5 minutes later

 

T.K. came back and sat on a rock.  “I think we should try to find this murderer,” Izzy said.  Besides T.K., everyone else thought someone else was killing everyone.  I mean Mimi has a point about never killing her own friends.

 

“Good idea Iz,” Tai said.  “Groups?”

 

“Yah sure,” Izzy answered.  He started typing on his computer.  “My calculations say these are the most reliable groups: Tai & Matt, Mimi & T.K. and Ken& and I.”

 

“What?!  I have to go with Tupperware boy?!” Mimi shouted scrunching up her nose.  She smiled.  “Wait, he’s not so bad… except that… HE’S ECUSING ME OF KILLING EVERYONE!”  T.K. walked over and put his hands of his hips.

 

“SO!  If Mulan Rouge thinks she’s all that, then why don’t you go with someone else!”  He shouted at her.  She crossed her arms and gave him a get lost look. 

 

“Hey Izzy?”  Davis asked shuffling over.  “Who am I going with?  Can I go with you?”  Izzy shivered.

 

“Ahhh… no but I think Tai and Matt want to,”  Izzy answered pointing at Matt and Tai shoving Davis closer to them and away from him.

 

“OH BOY!” Davis shouted running over to them.

 

“Oh, brother,” Tai and Matt said crossing their arms.  Davis started running around them in circles.

 

“I get to go with Matt and Tai, I get to go with Matt and Tai!” he chanted.  Matt and Tai groaned.

 

“Well, let’s go!” Ken shouted.  Everyone went in different directions.

 

Meanwhile

 

“Are you sure were going north?” Mimi asked picking up a moss-covered stick.  (Everyone knows moss grows on the north side of trees)  She spun around trying to figure out which way was north because the stick was already off the tree so it didn’t really do much good.  She accidentally smacked T.K. in the back of the head.  “Or maybe it’s this way.” She smacked him again turning around.  “No, I’m pretty sure it’s this way.”  She smacked him in the face making his hat fall off.

 

“MIMI!  PUT DOWN THAT STICK!” He shouted picking up his hat.  “Besides, it’s THAT way!” He pointed behind her.

 

“Oh!  Right!  I knew that!” she smirked.

 

Meanwhile

 

“I get to go with Matt and Tai, I get to go with Matt and Tai!” Davis chanted still running around them in circles.  “WHA HOO!  YIPEE! OH YAH!” He continued trying to do a cartwheel, but instead landing on his face.  He stood up and started again.

 

“SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!” Matt and Tai yelled at him.  Matt picked him up by his pants and threw him in a thorn bush.

 

“OWWWWWW!  IT BURNS!!!!  WHAT ARE THESE THINGS!!!!!!!????????” Davis hopped around picking thorns off him.

 

Meanwhile

 

“No, I’m sure E=Mc square,” Izzy explained to Ken.

 

“Yes, I believe you are quite right.  Now where are we going?” Ken answered.

 

After about an hour of walking

 

Everyone meet back in the same place.

 

“Where’s T.K.?” Matt asked when they’d been sitting there for a while.  He’d just noticed he wasn’t there.

“T.K.?  I think he went to see if he could find a cave,” Mimi answered.

 

“O.K. then where’s Ken?” Matt asked Izzy.

 

“You know, I’m not quite sure.  I think he went with T.K. or something,” he replied.  He typed some more stuff on his computer.

 

Meanwhile of in the forest

 

“OH MY GOD!” Ken shrieked looking into the entrance of a cave.  It was T.K.  Dead.  He had a huge dent in his skull and a large rock was next to him.  Ken hurried back to where the others were.

 

“What’s wrong Ken?” Tai asked seeing Ken out of breath.  Ken huffed and pointed behind him.  Everyone except Davis (who was playing with sticks) got up and walked over to Ken.

 

“Oh Sissy,” Davis chanted pointing at Mimi.  “Don’t tell me the nimrod struck again!  Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!” He starts laughing.  Mimi crossed her arms.

 

“Shut up farthead!” she shouted at him.  They all followed Ken to the cave.  When they got there, everyone gasped.

 

“Oh, my,” Izzy said quietly with a scared look.

 

“MY LORD!” Mimi gasped as she ran behind a tall patch of grass.

 

“What’s wrong Mimi?” Tai asked her.

 

“I CAN’T BARE TO LOOK AT IT!” she shouted.  Tai frowned as he looked over at T.K.’s lifeless body.  Matt knelt down and felt his pulse.  Nothing.  His eye’s got watery and he tried not to cry, but he did anyway.

 

“Mimi?  Did you do this?” Ken asked the tall patch of grass.  Mimi’s head poked out.

 

“WHAT?!  I think you did it Mr. I was the closest to T.K. when he died!” she shouted putting her head back behind the grass when she saw T.K.’s body.

 

“Now, Now guys.  I don’t someone murdered T.K.  Must we ALWAYS go to the murder story first?” Izzy questioned.

 

“Yah, I think the rock fell on his head when he was walking in,” Tai assured.

 

“Most likely, but it wouldn’t do that much damage, would it?” Izzy asked everyone.  Matt looked up.

 

“WHY?!  FIRST SORA AND NOW THIS!?  WHEN WILL IT END?!” Matt pleaded.  “Mimi?  Will you please just tell us if you know anything?”  No answer.  “Mimi?”

 

“She’s probably too grossed out to speak!” Tai told him.  Matt looked back at T.K.’s body and then noticed something!  His hat!  T.K.’s hat wasn’t there!  If he really was killed with a falling rock, then his hat would still be there!

 

“WHERE’S HIS HAT?!” he shouted out.  Everyone looked at him and then at T.K.

 

“I… don’t know!  I didn’t notice it until now!” Ken exclaimed.  “Someone must have it!  But who?”

 

“Can we talk about this later guys?  At least let us get back to the fire, it’s cold out here!” Tai asked starting to walk towards the patch of grass Mimi was behind.  “Mimi?”  She wasn’t there.

 

“Over here Tai!” a voice shouted a few feet away.  Mimi’s head poked out from behind a tree.  “I can’t stand it!  I had to be as far away as possible!” 

 

Tai smiled and said,” It’s alright Buttercup.”  He put his arm around her shoulders.  “We’re goin’ back  to the fire now.”  She smiled and kissed him.  They started walking back to the fire.  Everyone followed them.  “HOLY CRAP!” Tai exclaimed.  “WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED HERE!?”  Davis was lying on the ground  with what looked like red marks around his throat.

 

“He’s dead!” Matt shouted partially happy.  Everyone ran over and Tai felt his pulse.  Again nothing.

 

“Some one strangled him!” Tai explained also partially happy.

 

“That’s it!  I want to know who’s killing everyone!” Ken shouted.  “I’m sick of hearing and seeing people DIE!”

 

“Yah, and I think I know how to settle this too… Who ever has T.K.’s hat is the Murderer!” Matt suggested.

Tai? He’s been pretty quiet lately

Izzy? He certainly seems to know a lot about the deaths doesn’t he

Matt? Maybe Sora’s death WAS and accident and he wanted to kill everyone so he could get revenge

Ken? He also has been quiet and I don’t think T.K.’s death was an accident

Mimi? She was pretty mad at Sora, but who knows….

Mimi pulled T.K.’s hat out of her pocket.  “It was me!  HA! HA! HA! HA!  I KILLED THEM ALL!”

 

“WHY?!” Tai pleaded falling to his knees dramatically.

 

“WHY?  I’ll tell you why!  Sora thought she was so much better than me and was really testing our friendship!  But she pushed it too far, so I pushed her off the cliff!”  Everyone started at Mimi who had an evil grin.  “Kari was getting too suspicious about Sora’s death.  The fact is I really didn’t grab poisonous fruit, but when she was sleeping I found a plant so deadly that one drop in the mouth would make you go crazy!”

 

“Well that explains me not going crazy too!  I remember now that I ate a fruit too!” Matt explained.

 

“Oh yah!” Tai answered.

 

“What about my brother?!” Matt yelled tensing from now knowing who killed Sora.

 

“T.K.?  Well my, my was he suspicious!  And he was even going to punch my beautiful face!  So when we were in groups… I BASHED HIM IN THE HEAD WITH A ROCK!!!!!  He died instantly from a broken skull.  Then I dragged him over to the cave and took his hat!  Because it would look soooooo much better on me,” she smirked.  “I made it look like an accident with the rock falling on his head and all.  When I got back and Ken wasn’t there I knew he would probably come back telling everyone about what he saw.  And it turned out he did!”

 

“What about Davis?” Ken interrupted.

 

“AS I WAS SAYING…….. just before we left to follow Ken Davis went too far with the insults and his stupid ness.  So when you guys were inspecting T.K. I ran back and choked him to death!  That’s why I hid behind the grass and made it seem like I was to grossed out to come out!  But the fact is, I didn’t make it back to the grass in time so I hid behind a tree saying I had to be even farther away!  You bought it!  HA! HA! HA!
