Eddie
I can't describe what attracts me most to Eddie Vedder. His band Pearl Jam is of course one of the greatest bands of all times, but Eddie is so much more complicated than that for me.
Eddie is one of the greatest song writers and over all musicians I have ever had the pleasure of (spending half my life) listening to.
Eddie is spontaneous. He's way ahead of the pack in my opinion. Which keeps me what he will do next. Pearl Jam is a very successful band, but they didn't put a video out for album single for 6 years. When they finally did put a video together for their song "do the evolution" it had nothing to do with the band, it was animated. Pearl Jam also sued TicketMaster to lower concert ticket prices. And they were also one of the first, and very active in, the Tibetan Freedom concert which raised a lot of money to do just that. They don't do all these things for publicity either.
Eddie could very very very easily be a sex symbol, cause jeez, he's so hot! But he prefers to be a mysterious person. No topless photo shoots for Eddie (I looked, but if you find some, do share!!) If you want to get to know him, listen to his music, because that is as close as you will get.
The emotion he pours into and out of his music cannot be matched in a more blissful matter. Pearl Jam's music got me through two break ups and countless other dramas in my life. (thanks :)
He's constantly in thought it seems, he doesn't use his microphone in vain.
Above all, he's not blind to the world, and his music will always tell a story of where he and the world are at, in that moment in time..
