my eyes...
Too much PC kills eyes...
My eyes are really tired and dried because of too much looking at the screen.
Grrrrr.

I saw the movie "My life without me", which is "shinumade ni shitai 10 no koto" in Japanese title. It was pretty nice. :)
It was very simply organized, and the ppl in it were all really good.
Music was nice also...

Two more working days!!

travelin'
My parents came to visit me on Saturday by car from Takarazuka, where my(their, to be specific) home is.
They brought me lots of prezzies such as sweets, food, clothes...I love all of them. :)
We spent some time in my room, and then headed to Gotemba where the hotel was. It was an hour of driving from Isehara(where I live). It was kinda cloudy so we couldn't take even a glance at Mt. Fuji that day. We had tasty French for dinner, some cocktails at the bar, and then went to bed. I could hardly sleep...dunno why though.
Next morning, when we opened the curtains, there was a huge beautiful Mt. Fuji in front of us!!! It was just AMAZING!! No matter how many times I see Mt. Fuji, it's always gorgeous. :) But that Mt. Fuji might have been the biggest one I had ever seen.

My parents sent me to the Gotemba station and they went back to Hyogo, and I took the train to Tokyo and went to have my hair cut(and permed...which ended in fail). After that I went to Yokohama again with my senior worker and had amazingly tasty Chinese at China town.
It started to rain at night, and I was soaked when I got home at midnight...I was terribly tired anyway. mmm.
It took me some energy to get up this morning.

Aaaaanyway. It was a busy but fun weekend. We had sukiyaki on Friday and it was nice as well.

Working on weekdays, playing on weekends...it's okay, but I feel something's missing in me.
Something more spiritual, deeper stimulation...something that enhances me, improves me, entertains me. I gotta do something for sure.

I really really gotta lose my weight. I can't even look at my tummy...how pathetic I am.
Even though I don't eat much, I gain more and more weight and can never lose a kilo.
I want to cut my flesh off---

minato-mirai line
I took the minato-mirai line which started its business at the beginning of this month. There were soooooo many ppl in the stations, but it took us from Yokohama to Shibuya for about 30mins. It was pretty cheap as well. :)

We had tasty ra-men at Ikebukuro and had some cocktails afterwards.

Today I went to Nihon-bashi to buy chocolates for the lucky day for men, that is a Valentine's Day. I wanted to buy teuscher's chocolate but their wrapping was not so nice, so I bought other store's. There were lots of chocolates like jewelies but I couldn't get any one of them for myself...cuz I am on a diet!!

sis
My sister came to my place from Osaka the day before yesterday. Her job is such a busy one that she can hardly take a holiday. As she could take 2-day holidays in a row, she came here to see me and enjoy Tokyo by herself. She stayed overnight at my place and we hanged around Tokyo together yesterday. It was lots of fun.
Yesterday we went to aesthetic salon at Omote-sando. It was sooooo relaxing...we got our face massaged for about one hour. It was really nice. We both fell into deep sleep. Our skins were shining after that. :)
I found a very nice interior shop nearby. They've got such beautiful collection and they are very cheap!! I got a big fleece blanket at a pretty low price that I've searching for. It's warm and light. I'm typing this wrapped in it. :) comfy.

Aaanyways, I think I ate too much tonite again... o and I tried Funa-zushi for the first time tonite. My senior worker went to Shiga and he brought us some packs of it. It was...weird..but I could understand why some ppl are addicted to it. It's not too bad. It's got a very special taste though.

new week starts again
I went to Tully's today again...I met up with my friend there and talked a lot.
I tried a chocolate chip cookie there for the first time and it was pretty good! So far I didn't like the food of Tully's, but the cookie was nice. Starbucks got good cookies too though...

I bought a cute bottle of body soap on the way.

On Saturday I went to Yokohama with my senior worker. We went up to the Land Mark Tower. As it was such a nice weather, the view from the top was very nice. We couldn't see Mt. Fuji but still it was great.

Tonite I missed Taiga-drama...damn

cafe
There's a place I go on every Sunday recently.
It's a Tully's coffee at Hon-Atsugi.

It's got less people than Starbucks, and a nice and soft jazz music flows in the cafe.
I always take a window seat with a counter table and grab a tall cup of latte sometimes with a pastry or something. :)
I know it's just a francise and Tully's coffee is everywhere in Japan, but it feels a bit different to me. Anyways I feel comfy there.
I read books or just watch people passing by the window. It's fun.
I stay there for about an hour or more around 2 or 3pm, so if you ever need me, you'll find me there!

blizzard
It was snowing all day today. I like snow cuz it's beautiful and snow crystals are pretty.
Today I went out to Yokohama with my senior worker. We had tasty Chinese at a restaurant in China town. Then we went to Yamashita ko-en which had few ppl...I know, it's because it's too cold outside!! We also felt cold of course, so we went into the huge ship named Hikami-maru. Inside the ship was pretty nice, with lots of deasel engines and pretty rooms. We went out on the deck and looked down the sea. After that, we went to the top of the Marine Tower. In the snowstorm, the tower was shaking. It gave us such a nice view of Yokohama. I liked Port Tower in Kobe better though...:) Aaaanyways we got down and got on the ferry to Minato-mirai. The ferry was really nice. It was warm, cheap, and the view of Yokohama port was great. We had good time tonite although it was really really reallllyy cold.

Last night, we had Sukiyaki with three other translators and one leader of our group. We bought good beef and lots of veggies. It was pretty tasty! And our leader brought us a bottle of champaign, which was very good! Let's do that again. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to Tully's at Honatsugi for reading a book...I like that place.

stuffed.
I finished translating one looooong patent today. yaay. I have to check it all from the top again though. Aaanyways I'm relieved... Tomorrow I gotta go to Nagata-cho area for the translation seminar.

Last weekend I hanged out with my friends of ashiato. We went to Lumine at Shinjuku for Yoshimoto.:) It was lots of fun. I didn't know most of the manzai-shi but they were quite good! The ones I knew were pretty good as well. :)
After that, we went to Iida-bashi area and visited Yasukuni-shrine. It was a really huge shrine and I felt something different there from the ordinary shrines. but it was nice. :) There was the Budo-kan neaby and I remembered the summers I used to participate in the national competition of Naginata...when I was young. (?!) After we had coffee at a nice cafe in Kagura-zaka, Yocci had to go, so we said goodbye to her and headed to Shiodome.
Shiodome was way toooo cool!! You should see those huge tall buildings...it's...amazing. I wonder how human beings could build those things...and the view was spectacular up there. :) The restaurants were gorgeous also, with surprisingly expensive menu. They're once-a-year kind of restaurants. Anyway we were really impressed. I would love to thank you Daichi-kun and Ueda-kun for taking me there.
These days I'm beginning to like Tokyo too, I guess.

Last Friday my long-waited DVD, Wakin Life has arrived!!!! It's one of my best favorites!! It's a totally amazing good movie...breath taking one. :)

My MD walkman is out of order...sob sob
