encoding the da vinci code...
It's raining really hard tonight, with huge thunders!
Though I had an unbrella with me, I got soaked when I got home...damn...
What's worse is that I cannot do the laundry again..

I'm running out of my underwears---! oops...sorry.

BTW, I went to see the famous movie "Da Vinci Code" last night. It was a very exciting, and also interesting movie! As the reputation says, it was kinda difficult, and complicated, but the TV program I saw last weekend helped me understand the movie very much.
The scenery and buildings of France were super beautiful. As I've never been to Europe, it's kinda world in the books for me.
If I have time, I wanna go there some time. :)

As for my job, as usual, I'm getting fed up with too much translations. (><)

I went home in Takarazuka last weekend to celebrate my mom's and my birthdays.
My sister gave me a pair of pierce earrings. :)

While I was there, my grandma's oldest sister passed away. :( She used to take care of me a lot when I was little...
I attended her funeral and thanked all she has done to me.
These days, people in my relatives die sequentially...very sad.

Hey there. The long GW is now ending...
This time I didn't go back home in Hyogo, but I travelled around Kyushu instead.

I played around Kyushu by a rented car, Vitz. Vitz is such a nice car...so easy and smooth to drive. I can understand why it's selling so good. :)
Anyway, Kyushu was such a fun place. I'll write about this trip some other time coz it's going to be sort of long.

Well, as some ppl know, I got aged last month....I'm becoming close to obasan day by day. sigh.

It's raining today. I ate McDonald's cheese burger set in the morning...and I'm writing this blog now.
I'm gonna clean up the mess of my room and get prepared for the busy busy days at office.

reunion
Mood:  party time!
Yesterday, all the friends who went to the same language school in Boston gathered at one girl's house and had a party there!
It was great to see them again. We talked about lots of things such as memories in Boston, what each of us has been doing since coming back to Japan, our romantic lives, etc. etc....

I brought a bottle of wine and a cake, and other friends brought some food and drinks too. My closest friend, Akiko (owner of the house) is a great cook, so she cooked lots of dishes and we all enjoyed them and talking stupid stuff.
I and another friend stayed overnight, and came back home tonight.

One more week until the holidays!...and one more translatkion job to do....

spring
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: ABBA
Soon the Golden week is coming, and Im still busy like a hell. :( I had to go to the office last Saturday. sob sob.
However, on Sunday, I went to Izu island by my own car. :)
I go to Izu about once a month or two months. It's such a lovely place with beautiful beautiful sea, tasty food, and fabulous onsen.

This time, we went to Matuzaki city, which is a small old town. It's one of the loveliest cities in Izu. There is an old scenery remaining there...old school, buildings, etc... it's just an ordinary city, but it's got a special atmosphere somehow.
While we were exploring the city, we noticed that the movie "Sekachu-" was filmed there! and moreover, "Bar bar Yoshino", which I saw a few days before was filmed there too.
(BTW, Bar bar Yoshino is such a good movie. :) )

Anyway, I love Matsuzaki so much.

I bought some omanju- wrapped with corned Sakura leaves and enjoyed them at home. :)

My Lupo has run more than 2000 km so far...

Mood:  chatty
Now Playing: c-kay
Sorry about not updating. :(
I am to be blamed.

Well, these days...
on weekends, I drive my car a lot, though I am losing confidence every time I am scolded..

But my car is really really cute! :D
I'm sure Lupo looks even better in spring.

My co-worker who got married in December (I wrote about the wedding on this blog) got pregnant!!
She's been feeling very sick, but she'll get better and be settled soon...
I'm really happy for her. :)
but I just can't keep up with the speed of time and the changes of everything....
All but I keeps going and changing...

I've got to do something!

Anyway, I'll get a spring bonus this month, so I'm waiting for receiving a blue envelope, winding my tail...hehe

Last weekend, I saw a DVD "Little Black Book". It was a fun movie! As there is no Tsutaya or anything around my apartment, there is hardly any chance to see movies...which is really sad. :(
On Sunday, I enjoyed playing ping-pong at a huge sport center owned by Atsugi-city. I only had to pay 200-yen to use one table for 4 hours, with free rackets and balls! We ended in playing only for an hour, but Im sure I will go there again.
After that, we played "catch ball" for about an hour. It's pretty fun to throw ball and catch it with a glove! I like the sound when the ball hits the glove perfectly, the sound like -bang!
I could sleep quite well and deeply that night, but next day....my body was all full of pain...damn...

I should exercise regularly, to resist the gravity!!

Sony sucks
Mood:  smelly
Now Playing: silence
Is "stylish design" the only feature of Sony company?? Where did the "usefulness" go...? maybe somewhere out in the space..

I have a Sony cellphone and recently I found out that I can listen to music with it. So I ran into the electric store and bought an earphone and adaptor for memory stick Duo!....
However, it only acceps ATRAC3 music!
I tried many ways but I finally couldn't change MP3 into ATRAC3...I'm exhausted, so I gave up and decided to save money to buy iPod.
Now I hate Sony...

By the way, I got a car!!
It's Volkswagen Lupo. It's a yellow pretty car, and runs quite well actually.
The car hasn't come yet, but I'm excited. :)
At the same time, I'm a bit surprised to know that lots of money is needed...
Soooo these days I'm trying to work after "teiji" to save coins. :)

Mood:  hug me
Now Playing: princess princess..
Sorry for not updating such a long time...:(

How are you all? I hope all of you are healthy and happy!

These days, I have been busy in my private life as well as at office.
Sad news is...my only grandpa passed away two weeks ago... he was such a great person who had been respected by lots of people and made a great deal of effort for the happiness of society and his family.
He didn't talk much, but everybody loved him.
I really really hope he stays peacefully now..

At office, I have lots of work as usual.
The last specification I translated was about a care support system. Usually I translate the spcification about transistors, inverters, logic circuits, etc. etc....
They are not fun fun stuff, but I got used to them. :)

I bought a CD of Princess Princess at Amazon...I know, it's such an old stuff, but very very good, actually.
I turned off TV and have been listening to it repeatedly. :)
Their songs remind me of those good and young days in the past...hehe

Happy new year to you all!

How was your winder holidays?
Hope you had so much fun with your families and friends.

I, of course, went back home in Takarazuka and had such a nice time with my family and friends.
On the new year's eve, I met up with my friend at college and had some alcohol at Izakaya, where we celebrated the moment of the new year.
I also met lots of relatives such as aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. It was nice to see how the cousins who are students have grown up.

On 1/1, I tried omikuji and got "daikichi".
I hope this year will be a fantastic one for me...I truly hope so.

I also hope your new year will be a lovely one too.

wedding!!
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: girls just wanna have fun
Today, one of the four translators got married at Tsukiji-honganji!!!
Her name is Jun-chan, who is two years older than I. She's really smart and such a fun person, and kind of a leader of ours.
Her desk is next to mine at office, and moreover, we live nextdoor at the dorm!
So we've been very close to each other...

She got married to another leader of the CAD group. We used to hang out and drink with him a lot.
I'm so glad that they got married...
Anyway, the ceremony was really moving..I almost cried when Junchan in "shiromiku" and her husband walked up to the alter.
After that, we all went to Royal Park Hotel at Suitengu for hirouen.
I did my hair at the salon at Omotesando where I always go, and I was dressed up in a decent black dress, so I looked OK, but....
I had to make a speech with the other two translators!!

I had prepared what to say, but I got so nervous.
We could do the speech in success though...phew
The served dinner was soooo tasty, and the bride was soooooooooo beautiful.... I cried many times at the hirouen.
I took lots of pictures of hers and ours.
Actually, it was my first time to attend the wedding. I didn't know that "kekkonshiki" was such a impressive, moving, and fantastic thing...
What I think now is....I wanna do that too!!!

Well, anyway, I'd like to thank her and her husband for such a nice time.
I really wish their never-ending happiness. :)

reunion
Last weekend, I went to Kobe for the reunion.
Not many people came this time, but I had a very good time.
We had dinner at a restaurant in Harbour Land,
and stayed in the hotel in Okurayama.
Next day, Yocci and I went to see Kazamidori no yakata. It was a nice building. After that, we went to the shrine nearby. We could see a great view of Kobe from there, and the wind blowing there was very comfortable.
As we didn't have much time to see all the ijinkan, we went down to Sannomiya and went to Port Island to meet other friends. Near Shimin Hiroba station, we had gorgeous lunch. It was a very famous Kobe steak restaurant. Needless to say, we all ordered Kobe steak and enjoyed the juicy Kobe beef taste. Of course it was soooo yummy.

Then we walked around to digest the beef, and then had very good coffee at UCC museum.
As I had to go back home in Takarazuka for my sis's birthday party, I said good-bye to them at Sannomiya and arrived home.

In the evening, our family went to a nice French restaurant in Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi and celebrated her xx-th birthday. I gave her a pair of pierce earrings and a necklace.

On Monday, I flied back to Kanto.
It was a fun fun weekend!

I know it's hard to see...but this picture is a Kobe-beef plate! A bowl of rice and miso soup, and coffee or ice cream were served in addition. mmm.
I wanna go there again. :)
