Six Flags Marine World displayed Orcas from 1968 until 2000, when their last Orca, an adult female named Vigga, died. Since then, we have been aware of efforts to locate additional whales for display at the park, though so far, none have been purchased.
Marine World has a small Orca stadium, which has since been used as a diving stadium. However, recent photos show that no major changes were made to the pool, and it could easily be converted back into an Orca facility.
