of course that’s due to the fact that my professors firmly believe college
students have no life so they can do insane amounts of homework. Waaaaah! I got
most of this done

The Party III: Things That Go Bump In The Night
“I can’t believe it took us this long to find his house!”
Dorothy exclaimed, giving Zechs a particularly venomous look. Used to her short
temper Zechs knew better then to reply; instead he ignored her. Relena smiled
slightly at their antics, her outwardly calm expression gave no hints to the
butterflies currently holding a three-ring circus in her stomach. Was it possible
to be so happy you threw up?
“Dorothy-Chan, its not Millie’s fault he was distracted,”
She said ignoring the strangled sound of disgust he made upon hearing his dreaded
childhood nickname.
She pinned Wufei with a glance and he blushingly withdrew
his hands from Zechs jeans. Muttering about the injustice of long car rides and
baka onna’s who were afraid of planes. Relena just snorted in reply.
Treize watched the whole affair with a half smile. Wufei was
hoping that Relena would find her son as much as the rest of them but his
little dragon was insatiable since he and Zechs had caught him last year. Not that he was
complaining. In fact with that thought his smile grew to a grin as he
watched his two feeders play. Yes, he was the luckiest donor alive.

Duo glided through the cool darkness of night easily. Once
he had realized that Heero was being stubborn and refusing to respond to his
hunger he had dressed quickly and not bothering with the door had leapt out his
window hitting the ground one story below at a run. He had always loved the
night, especially during winter. Glancing behind him, he affirmed that his steps were
too light and fast to leave a trail in the freshly fallen snow. (1.)
The night sky was always beautiful to his enhanced condition
but it seemed more so during winter; the stars and distant planets more brilliant,
their colors indescribable in any language, almost as if the cool breeze
surrounding his fleeting form had crystallized them in their beauty.
Tonight he didn’t notice them for once. He was hungry, on a
hunt. Not just anyone could fulfill his hunger now. No, he was on a special hunt
for Heero, his mate.
Following the silver trails of power which bound their souls
he could feel himself getting closer as the open fields and ancient forests gave
way to the cookie cutter houses of the suburbs. He leapt up not missing a
step, landing lightly on the roof to blend in where another shadow wouldn’t be
noticed by the naked eye.

Heero had left dinner quickly, his face more shuttered then
usual. Iria had watched him go nervously but with Odin away on one of his buissness
trips or missions, as he liked to call them she wasn’t sure what to do. She had
other problems to worry about anyway dealing with the fact that she knew
her Angel (2.) was sneaking out at night. (3.)
When she had tried to go in his room yesterday to get the
dirty laundry she had discovered that he had recently installed a lock on his
door. She was worried that she just might have to send him back to his father. But
when she had mentioned the possibility yesterday instead of his normal joy Quatre
had been horrified, adamantly refusing to even consider it. She loved Heero and
worried about him but Quatre was her son and right now it was obvious that he
needed help more then her stepson or so she thought.

Heero stepped out of the shower toweling off and pulling on
his old flannel
jammies (4.)He would normally have slept in the nude. But
the heater in the attic never worked quite right. Usually he would never have
noticed but these past few days he had realized he was beginning to change. He
was more sensitive to everything as if blinders had been taken off his senses.
He had always been quicker, stronger then the other boys. He had learned young
not to speak of his heightened senses to his father. Usually he was coolly
ignored but Odin had a fear of all things not human and wouldn’t accept the
hint that his flesh and blood was anything but human. All notions of being
different had quickly and painfully been whipped out of child Heero.
But just because he had never spoken of it again didn’t mean
he wasn’t aware of his differences even as a child Heero had been uncannily
smart at times able to withdraw into himself until all that was left outwardly
was a mask of his true self. He had tried to mold himself at first into his
father’s idea of a perfect human… Normal. Believing with a child’s hope that if
he could do that Odin might even call him son one day as he inwardly hated
himself until he had realized as he grew that his fathers fears were just
prejudice that there was nothing wrong with who he was.
The sharp throb of pain in his chest drew him from his
memories of the past. His body was telling him something but he didn’t know what.
He felt tired but too restless to sleep. He felt a faint hunger on the edge of
his consciousness but he had just eaten. He felt as if someone had tied a
string to his heart and was tugging it incessantly as a silent voice seemed to
call him in the back of his mind.
Ignoring it, he tried to go to sleep pulling the plush down
comforter up to his chin. Most of the cold he felt drowning him seemed to
come from within trailing thru his bones with icy fingers. He was so focused on this
new revelation he didn’t notice someone open the attic window and slip in
until he saw a flash of violet in the shadows. Sitting up abruptly he whispered, Duo?”
“Yes.”
Relief and pleasure washed through him at the simple answer
then he remembered what had happened, why he had left and had to physically
restrain himself from flinching.
“Have you come here to kill me?” the question was whispered
but the reply was not.
“No.”
“You must hate me.” Heero continued stating in that same
tone eyes glancing away like a wounded puppy.
“Why would I do that?” Duo let the confusion he had felt
show on his face.
“For what happened.”
“It was your first time, I can understand if you were
frightened enough to run.”
“I wasn’t afraid of that.” Heero blushed slightly at the
memory.
“Then why did you run?”
“I was afraid of you…”
“Did I hurt you so much?” Duo asked desperately needing to
know he hadn’t.
“No!” Heero blushed even brighter “It was wonderful, I woke
up and the most beautiful creature I had ever imagined much less seen was
touching me, actually seemed to want me! I should have known it was a mistake.
That you didn’t mean it. That you were waiting for someone else. I … I … I’m
sorry.”
“I’m not,” Duo said shortly and covered the remaining
distance between them.
“Look at me.” He said and Heero did, watching in silent
fascination while Duo's face became more inhumanly beautiful ethereal, almost
as his canines grew impossibly long and sharp, indenting the lush skin of his lower lip
with their white tips, his eyes gaining a silver sheen as the pupils grew large
like a cats. The sight didn’t frighten Heero or disgust him, instead he was very,
very turned on by it. (5.)
“I’m a vampyre Heero, one of the blood. I need to feed on a
living human to sustain my body. Trowa was bringing that girl so I could eat
not… um… But you were right I was waiting for someone, all my life in fact.
Waiting for the one person who would complete me. That person was you.”
“Me?”
“Mmmm, speaking of which,” Heero fidgeted nervously as Duo
began to sniff the delicate skin of is throat like an over grown cat, noticing
Heero’s actions Duo pulled back not wanting to frighten him with too much
too soon.
Biting his lip, torn as he tried to understand and accept
what was going on, Heero decided to listen to the only piece of advice his
father had ever given him without that crazed look in his eyes.
`Follow your heart`
Ignoring the nervous clench in his stomach he arched his
neck and whispered throatily, “You can if you want too.”
Worried at first that the hesitation on Duo’s part was rejection,
then meeting his eyes and recognizing it as fear--fear of losing him, Heero tangled
his fingers in the silky mass of Duo’s loosely braided hair
he guided Duo’s lips closer brushing them against the vulnerable skin of his
throat.
That was all that was needed.
Regaining his confidence Duo whispered, “Mine,” against
Heero’s skin sending a shiver of pure warmth through his body.

As the word echoed thru his thoughts in a silent mantra, Duo
nuzzled the pulse point feeling more then seeing the twin holes reopen,
welcoming him back into the warm haven of Heero’s body. Licking them he silently
promised they would never be separated again then plunged his teeth in. It was
different this time.
Different from anything else. Heero was conscious and fully
aware his hands had moved down to rub Duo’s back as he made soft little
sounds of pleasure and welcoming, and enveloping Duo’s consciousness with the
warm embrace of his mind.

Heero knew if he could, that he would keep this moment
forever. It felt so right as if he had been waiting his entire life for this… for Duo.
It didn’t matter that they had only met once before this night. He recognized
Duo on an instinctive level. He knew him better then he knew himself. He was the
part that had always been missing. He could feel Duo’s mind, his soul permeating
all the cracks in his own filling Heero with his own soul and healing all his
dark scars with something akin to love.
Then Duo pulled back and kissed him, again letting him taste
his blood, surprised he actually enjoyed it. Not the fact that it was blood but
the fact that it proved he had given Duo something every mate wanted to give… life.
(6.) As his mind struggled to grasp the concept that he accepted Duo as his
mate, his body was already reacting. This time he was fully aware of what he
was doing and why.
(7.) Slipping his tongue between Duo’s lips he deepened the
kiss, sighing into Duo’s moan.

As Heero initiated another hot melting kiss Duo ground his
hardness into the hips of the boy beneath him, hands slipping under the soft
flannel pajama top to play with the hard nipples beneath. Nibbling his lower
lip delicately Heero threaded his fingers through the silky strands of Duo’s
hair, undoing his braid.

“Yes?” The blonde boy asked as he opened the door. Relena
smiled at him, he was human but a faint scent of power clung to him. He must
be fooling around with one of the blood. She briefly wondered if it was with
Heero but quickly dismissed the idea. She doubted if he was strong enough to
awaken her son.
“Hello, is Odin Lowe home?”
“No, why?”
At the slightly disinterested answer Relena had to bite back
a smile. That S.O.B. wasn’t there. A perfect time to get her son.
“I’m an old acquaintance of his,” ignoring the disbelieving
looks as he surveyed her youthful appearance she forged ahead.
“Is Heero home?”
“Yeah, right up the stairs in the attic,” Quatre said and
stepped back to let her through as she rushed past him and up the stairs.
Staring at the boys passionately kissing on the bed Relena
couldn’t hold back
her smile. Both were blood and extremely powerful but which
one was her son? The feeder or the donor?
“Heero?” She whispered.
Two heads whipped around at the soft call. She would
recognize those eyes anywhere.
Her baby was a donor!
@~`~, ~`
Duo turned his head to look at the thin girl standing in the
doorway. The first thing his pleasure fogged brain realized was she was a
feeder, and she was calling his donors name. Eyes turning liquid silver and fangs
extending, he hissed in warning.
