Disclaimers: I don't own Gundam Wing, it belongs to Bandai, Sunrise, and I think some other companies out there that I can never remember.
Notes: This story begins near the beginning of the series, when Heero wants to assasinate Relena.
Summary: It is the year A.C. 195, and the tyrannic Earth Sphere Alliance faction called OZ is ready to make it's bid for total domination. In retaliation, those in the colonies who would fight have sent to Earth, six Gundam mobile suits disguised as shooting stars.

~Part 1~
"I am Kazuki, Kazuki North-Seikage." the girl introduced herself to her class at the elite Saint Gabriel's Institute.
"My name is Heero Yuy." the boy standing next to her said in a voice completely lacking of emotion.
For a moment, Kazuki North let the real world fade away as she contemplated the boy standing next to her. This Heero Yuy... he intimidated her. Kazuki prided herself on being an excellent judge of character, she always knew who to trust and who she couldn't. That was why she was still alive. As a pilot of the rebellion movement centered in the colonies; the pilot of the Gundam mobile suit she called the Pheonix, life was dangerous. Of course, to most
people she was the nearly nonexistent daughter of the prominent, very wealthy businessman Edward North, his only, often ignored child, not the ace pilot of the Pheanix Gundam, the one that had just yesterday destroyed an entire Oz-controlled base without any assistance. One would have to recall, though, that she would rather not fight, that
she loathed killing and chaos. She had cried for those she killed... *War is pain...* she thought, but now wasn't the time for that.
The two new students must have presented quite a contrast to each other though. Heero Yuy, a cold-eyed, expressionless boy with frigid eyes of Prussian blue, whose powerful aura came from only him alone,
not from social prestige or money. Kazuki North-Seikage, a girl who, without the prestige of her father would appear rather normal to anyone. She was a little short, at about 5'1'', and her appearance, that of a pretty airhead made her seem even more diminutive. Her deep eyes were a nice shade of blue green, and her gold-blond hair
was tied in two unbraided pigtails. In two weeks she would be 14 years old. She was not at all intimidating, and appeared even more bright and cheery than usual while standing next to the serious-faced Heero Yuy.
By the worst bad luck, Kazuki would be seated next to Heero. He was now sitting between two girls, Kazuki herself and a girl she knew to be Relena Dorlian.
Meanwhile...
Heero was here to eliminate his target. His mission was to kill Relena Dorlian. Now, he found himself with what could be another threat. What had been her name? Kazuki North. To all other eyes, she was just another spoiled rich girl, but he saw and felt things no one else would notice.
That Kazuki girl, he sensed than her cheery demeanor was false and fabricated, no more real than the records he had falsified to get close to his target. Those bluegreen eyes had glanced at him many times, assessing him as he had been assessing her. What was her true personality probably like? He now had her down as the quiet, soft-spoken type.
Why was she probably a threat to his mission here? Heero didn't know why he thought of her like that, the gut reaction just came to his mind, without any truly sound reasoning. But... He trusted his instincts, if there was something not quite right about her, he would find out. *Also, if she is truly a threat to my mission here, I will eliminate her too.* he swore to himself.
As he stared at the teacher, appearing to be listening to his lecture, though not processing a word he said. He was forming in his mind, a plan, it accounted for every possibility he could fathom. In a fight hand-to-hand, that Kazuki girl will most likely keep away from my blows, feigning some strikes, but only striking when she knows it will hurt, he calculated.
He was sure this knowledge, this estimate, would be useful later, that they would fight. His own instincts said so, that soon they would most likely have a comfrontation, and he was almost always right.
