Prologue
The scene sets in the darkness of space on a far moon circling Jupiter, The well set-up Genesis Enterprises established a Prison-Colony where all offenders of the Unified Nations/Colonies where sent to. Peace has past for the last 14 years to date this coming to the 15th year in a run, The people of the colonies and Earth live a well lived life relying on advanced technology to better aid their everyday life. Mostly being the advances not only in electronically but also medical, the well known corporation Genesis as took up many off world places to build up it's current empire in space, from mining minerals and rare materials to putting them into use building equipment and advanced computer systems capable of running things automatically aiding the people even further more. But where is the truth in all of these handouts....
"This is security check net bravo one, what is the current location of the Vice President’s shuttle?" A long paused waited after the question from the security official as one of the technical officers typed at his computer terminal bringing up several figures being displayed showing a trajectory of its course.
"Well!?" The official snapped again with a demanding sound echoing in the room causing the soldier to panic somewhat before he soon stopped receiving a blow to the side of the face instantly from the angered, impatient official.
"There is no room for mistakes soldier, just what kind of operation do you think we run here, An amusement park!?" The official snapped again with his heavy-toned voice as he leaned over in the soldiers face seeing his shake his head fast to disagree
"N-NO Sir!" He reinforced his movements with his words as the official leaned back up to stare at a blank screen
"Good, now patch me up a visual screen of the shuttles flight path and prepare to lay out the laser guiding docking lines now! There is no room for failure; in the Genesis military this is a top-secret visit of our Vice President. And you can imagine what the President would do if he found you slow on reactions on dealing with his son's personal visit of the facility." The official took several paces back while continuing to talk monitoring the other positions, taking a seat in a high chair observing the entire scene from the rear of the room.
"N-No Sir!" The soldier responded again hard in his replies as if he were core-trained bringing up a large visual display of a shuttle incoming to the moon facility, the officer simply smiled on a curled lip rubbing a tightened fist into the palm of his other hand
"Excellent.... Now engage the laser tracking beams! And bring it in slowly, do remember if anything goes wrong with this visit I shall hold you personally responsible and inform the President that his son has arrived. Call in the soldiers immediately."
"Yes sir!" The soldier replied back to his commanding officer with a slight sweet on his forehead pressing down on several switches at his control terminal activating a laser guided auto pilot for all shuttles, followed by opening the hanger doors allowing the shuttle to land perfectly on the docking platform which was soon filling with soldiers from the entire base not on duty. Shouldering their guns in a saluting position facing side-ways, leaving only but a gap in the middle where the base commander walked almost promptly not wanting to be late standing to attention in front of the shuttle doors placing his hands behind his back waiting for the doors to open slowly, revealing a tall elegant figure dressed in a white double breasted suit and trench coat with black trimmings. His hair was but shoulder length blonde, with an ice blue stare from his eyes but his facial expression was all but different lifted with an amused smirk across his youthful face as he stepped down from the shuttlecraft taking his time. Looking around at the soldiers gathered before the commander stepped forward.
"Welcome back mister President, I trust your trip went without problems?" The base commander greeted him before the blonde haired figure soon paused him raising a gloved hand out from his coat pocket forming it into a slender palm, in front of the officer as the two walked slowly down the middle of the soldiers gathered in the hanger area
"Spare me with the pleasantries Commander, I'm here to see my father not to hear your long boring speeches about how you missed my presence but the sentiments are in the right place, shame... your tongue isn’t though." He spoke in a high accented European English voice but perfectly clear and well spoken.
"My apologies sir." The commander bowed his head slightly shameful in response to the white figure's words.
"Is that all you can do? Give one-word answers, and apologise for everything? tsk, tsk my dear soldier, you have much to learn remember one thing is it not a soldier's position to question his superiors under any circumstance....." The blonde haired young figure stopped turning to face the smaller officer still without losing his temperament he kept perfectly calm while scolding the soldier who just bowed without answering.
"You'd do well to remember that it is not the soldiers who fight battles that win the war, it is the one's who give the orders who have the superior intellect to tell you what is wrong and right now show me to my father I grow tired of looking at imperfections." He spoke in a crisp clean tone wavering his index finger pointing from his right hand in front of the commander while finishing his words before turning back with an uplift on the bottom of his long trench coat as he spun to continue walking down the empty line path to exit the hanger through two huge automatically opening doors, while the commander quickly raised an arm calling the soldiers to drill out in single lined formations.
After Peace was established on Earth and the colonies the need for the Gundam pilots became unneeded to somewhat extent, after battling for peace after the Eve war and during the Mariemaia incident Peace was finally obtained at a high price for all the life’s lost in the fighting. And so the Gundam pilots, who were trained to be soldiers of war became nothing but agents of pacifism protecting the fragile peace that Relena was trying to create between the Colonies and the Earth. For the first time since the colonies were formed there was peace on the Earth, After the United Earth Sphere Nation was formed to create a permanent peace between Earth and the colonies, but the road to simple disarmament wasn’t without it’s problems even though most humans destroyed most of their man-made weapons after the two wars that threatened the fragile glass there was some who simply refused to throw away their traditions to allow another fake peace to pass over.
Relena Darlian, now the Vice Minister for the Colonies had scheduled a meeting with another of the leading corporations who had produced Mobile Suits, as they continued to police the suspects thought to be creating more weapons of destruction since the elimination of Black Market weapons was a difficult task to point out suspects without creating an international dispute, and finding the proof was getting more and more a harder task, since the companies were becoming more careful by the second with their plans… As her personal shuttle landed on the corporate facility in North Dakota she was escorted by her aides stepping off the passenger plane, greeted by a selection of officials, as the middle leading man walked forth opening his arms to welcome his guests.
“Welcome to Azumi Industries Vice Minister Darlian, I hope you don’t mind us speeding up the tour of the facilities here since we have urgent business elsewhere to contend with, I’m sure you understand that being in the same political position yourself.” The American spoken man said with a slight fake smile on his face as he led the committee into the production plant showing them the heavy machinery being produced.
“And this Minister is our production line here, as you can see we’ve refitted our entire assembly lines for the production of agricultural vehicles as well as development into faster space shuttles to allow the people of today for a much safer and faster rides to the colonies and thus forth no Mobile Suits, not even a tank can be seen Vice-Minister Darlian. And that I’m afraid concludes our tour.” The company representative talked while guiding Relena along past the long construction line till reaching the end, turning around to face her finishing the tour. However Relena simply opened her report folder Preventers had handed over to her, as she browsed through the text raising an eye back to the man waiting for her response.
“No, I’m afraid it doesn’t Mister Chairman, what about the research facilities? I heard that your company used to develop advanced Mobile Suits for the war?” Relena spoke with high concern in her voice about the rumours that were enclosed in the report of more Mobile Suits.
“Advanced Mobile Suits? Yes we do admit we provided the military with new Mobile Suits in the past… But since the armistice, we’ve shut down all the old facilities as you can see we now are only building a better future for mankind to develop on.” The chairman said pushing his glasses up on his face with a slight laugh.
“If they are all shut down then let me take a look and be the judge of that Mister Chairman.” Relena demanded in a more concerned look on her face that they were co concealing something causing a silence amongst the group, as the Chairman remained silent.
“Vice-Minister, how can we show you what we don’t have?” The man sneered with a grin across his face.
“Then I’d like to meet with your former Mobile Suit researchers and engineers to ask them all personally myself a few questions about what is really going on here.” Relena said with a sterner look on her face while the Chairman looked to his second grunting a little before turning back to her.
“But of course, please follow us the development team is this way, even though I can’t say you’ll get much answers but whatever satisfies the United Earth Sphere Nation is fine by us.” The two men slowly turned around walking back past the production line just as Relena and her aides followed her one of them leaned over to say something.
“You’re being too mild Relena, they’re hiding something let’s check all the facilities and find out what’s really going on here.” He insisted while whispering into her ear.
“It’s too early for pointing judgement yet.” She sighed somewhat closing her eyes while following the two men in front.
“But Minsiter….”
“We can’t force it, we must make them understand that there is no need for weapons any longer, that we are living in a peaceful era that does not require such methods of oppression and force just for shear protection…!!” Relena suddenly stopped in her speech almost falling over before one of her aides helped her as the ground tremor somewhat in a violent way hearing a loud sound to accompany it.
“What was that?! It sounded like an explosion underground.” Relena said worried as the two men in front stopped looking at each other in disbelief.
“The underground factory!!” The chairman shouted running to find out what was going off below did Relena and her aides follow going off soon after them.
As the explosions continues to ravage on getting more intense, causing the main structure to shake violently as a lone Leo underground with a dober gun over each shoulder stood firing armour piercing rounds at the un-manned suits exploding one by one.
“The production line is destroyed, now continuing to destroy the last remaining Mobile Suit.” A cold toned voice came from inside the Leo pushing forward one of the controls as he dropped one of the dober guns reaching for a beam saber inside his blast shield ramming it directly into the head camera of the Leo before ejecting out of the suit, the dark haired figure landing perfectly on his knee’s turning his head back at the falling Leo as it exploded behind him crashing over with the others in the destroyed production plant smiling slightly he got to his feet quickly running off down a corridor, only to stop flipping his gun out clicking back with the safety off seeing someone was standing in the dark in the corner of the end corridor.
“Yo Heero, chill! I already erased the computer data of the Mobile Suits designs and specifications.” A more cheerful voice came from the figure with long dark brown hair as he walked towards Heero with a baseball cap on.
“Let’s just blow this joint shall we and be on our way.” The long braided figure said with a smile added with Heero who smirked in silent response to it.
“What the…?!” The chairman suddenly rushed through the main entrance to the production facility covering his face as a huge explosion finished off the remaining Leo’s causing fire to erupt from the smoking remains, just as Relena and her Aides walked in behind the gentlemen who were staring in disbelief at what they were seeing.
“Please inform the U.E.S.N that Azumi is under immediate investigation and suspension from any activities until further date has been approved.” Relena sighed watching the destruction inside the underground base.
“Yes Madam!” Her aide responded just as the Chairman turned out in anger hearing what she was saying about them.
“You did this to us eh?!” The Chairman said in a furious tone of voice directed at Relena after seeing the destruction of all the Leo suits now burning scrap metal.
“No Mister Chairman, we are trying to stop violence and would never commit such a thing ourselves. We only want you and everyone else see that weapons are not needed anymore in the world, please understand us.” Relena sighed wishing she didn’t have to see such destruction herself.
“Then who’s responsible you you aren’t!?” The Chairman snapped again curiously gritting his teeth with sweet pouring down his forehead from the heat and pressure of the moment.
“I guess some people must feel more strongly about the need for total disarmament then we do Mister Chairman, I hope you’ll understand one day what living in a peace nation really means. Now if you’ll excuse me I have a colony meeting to attend.” Relena said with full confidence knowing who was behind the attack, smiling to herself as she left.
Driving down the highway away from the building now clearly seen in heavy smoke in the background, Heero was driving a jeep along with the braided figure next to him in the passenger seat as the fire teams passed them on the way out of the Company grounds.
“Hey, Heero did you know that Relena was at the factory when we turned it into scrap?” Duo said speaking to Heero as he continued to drive on the road.
“……”
“I guess you did huh?” Duo said trying to get him to at least speak about her, even though Heero wasn’t that fond of talking about Relena as one of his best talking subjects.
“I tried not to get in her way… What else did you expect me to do?” Heero said shrugging while keeping an open eye on the job at hand, which was driving at the moment.
“That’s just typical of you Heero, well at least they won’t be making Mobile Suits there again! One more factory out of the way, by the way do you still keep in touch?” Duo always the conservationist continued to carry on the talk.
“With who?” Heero responded.
“Relena of course, you know the girl who we’re SUPPOSED to be protecting her peaceful ideal.” Duo sarcastically replied back, which was normal for him.
“No…” Heero spoke with his usual monotone voice, sharp but effective of getting points across at people.
“Man, she’s gonna forget about you Heero in no time, but I guess Arys has you pretty much busy elsewhere right?” Duo smiled staring over at Heero watching his reaction as he spoke about the married couple.
“Just drop it Duo, Arys is on a mission elsewhere… I wanted to go but it was a single operation. Anyway why’d you come down from space?” Heero asked looking back over to Duo from the corner of his eyes.
“Oh, you know the usual reasons why I always like to come down and see the Earth every once in a while.” Duo mumbled turning back to stare on ahead at the road.
“Got into another fight again I suppose…” Heero smirked knowing Duo’s loud mouth often got him into fights in outer space.
“No! What makes you say that anyway Heero? Have you got some kind of inside source, unless you got your wife keeping tab’s on me at all time.” Duo thought for a minute thinking about Arys watching him.
“Fine…Forget I said anything, so Quatre and Trowa are doing okay out in the colonies?” Heero shrugged turning his attention back onto the wheel seeing that they were approaching a place where they could relax for a while at.
“What!? Oh those guys, yeah sure they can take care of themselves they always seem to be able to.” Duo grinned at Heero knowing exactly who he was really thinking about right now.”
“Hm? Who’d you think I was talking about?” Heero stared at him with a narrowed look again in the corner of his eyes leering over at Duo.
“Uh… never mind Heero.” Duo sighed lowering his head as Heero pulled over in the jeep at a local restaurant, both of them hopped out walking inside the building taking up seats after placing an order with Duo mainly taking a huge order while Heero just sat down with a cup of green tea in his hand.
“Space doesn’t need the three of us watching out for trouble, I left Trowa and Quatre behind and I think Quatre wanted to look over his resource operations anyway now that things have calmed down a lot there isn’t much need for all us to be working so hard.” Duo said sitting down eating a bite from his dinner.
“Wufei’s not with you then is he?” Heero looked up from the table taking a drink from his tea.
“I thought he’d be with you, Then I guess he must be with that Sally Po from the Preventers instructor group who are leading the new trainee’s for the agency down at the newly reformed Sanc training facility now its complete.” Duo continued to feed himself speaking in-between his chewing.
“That’s just like him… He must be up to the same thing as us, trying to clean up the mess that was left behind by the fighting. Training facility? That place certainly doesn’t need any more people trained to become fighters like us…” Heero shrugged going a little cold on his words closing his eyes as he took another drink from his tea.
“You really didn’t agree with the decision your son made did you Heero? Come on what can you expect he wants to be just like you just like Kato and me, don’t be so hard on him it’s not like he’s going to be fighting in any long-term war or be put through what we went through.” Duo nudged Heero a little causing him to open his eyes a little frustrated and coldly narrowed in perfect blue at Duo’s comment.
“Well that’s you and him, but this world doesn’t need another Perfect Soldier fighting for a war that’s long been forgotten, but he won’t listen… He’s got my stubbornness in him and an attitude I don’t know where he got it from he does whatever he wants…and brushes everyone else away when its convenient.” Heero gave a slight sigh relaxing back in his chair fading off a moment looking outside thinking about the whole matter.
“Heh, heh sounds just like someone I used to know eh Heero? I can remember trying to get you to talk and listen back then but you kept flying away off on your mission’s brushing everyone off when you felt like…” Duo stopped getting interrupted by Heero.
“Yeah, yeah I get the picture It’s none of your business though…” He grunted hard trying to brush Duo off getting him to shut up with his big mouth would be appropriate.
“Well Excuse me for trying to help, now you wonder where he gets his attitude from don’t look any further it’s staring right at me.” Duo snickered to himself a little at his remark about Heero’s son.
“DUO!!” hero slammed a clenched fist onto the table staring at Duo with one of his narrowed death glares instantly making Duo shut up about the subject knowing never to get Heero pushed over the edge when in that kind of mood.
“Okay, Geez chill Heero I was only joking so what’s the next target that Preventer HQ talked with you about?” Duo said as he finished off his meal having Heero’s full attention now.
“It’s easy to check the companies that made all the weapons before to the Romefeller Foundation, White Fang and Mariemaia’s former army. But we have to look for the new-comers who will be the hardest to track down what they are staging and planning to create with old and possibility of new Mobile Suits.” Heero briefed Duo carefully and precisely looking over the table outside.
“They just don’t get it do they Heero, holding onto Mobile Suits like this during a time of peace there is no point to it what-so-ever so why do they still continue to follow in the footsteps of fools.” Duo said through a sad look on his face looking to one side wondering at his question.
“People can’t let go of protection and safety so easily, they feel safe having weapons surrounding them and by arming themselves they see it as a way to move on but it isn’t… The war affected the people, but the Earth and the colonies still don’t trust each other even after all these years they still cannot get over the human instinct to battle just as Treize described…” Heero closed his eyes again crossing his arms on the table thinking over the past history briefly trying to forget about his personal problems with his family.
“Funny that coming from you Heero, you’d be the last person I’d expect talking about Treize usually it’d be Wufei bringing that up about battling him again. But did you hear the rumour Heero that’s recently been going around?” Duo narrowed his look also into a focused expression on his face staring over at Heero.
“About Firestorm…?” Heero slowly opened his eyes catching his attention once again when anything involving a mission or rumour relating to another mission.
“Yup, you guessed it any idea who started the rumour?” Duo toned down his voice so no one would hear the open handed conversation between the two Gundam pilots that was going off, not wanting anyone to hear anything.
“No… It might just be another rumour spread by colony factionists to cause terror in some kind of propaganda effect, Preventers already sent Arys to look into it that’s why I wish I could’ve gone along with her it could be dangerous if it turns out to be true.” Heero stood up from the table walking outside after the two finished inside walking back to their vehicle hopping inside driving back off on the road.
“Heh, You sure that’s the only reason your concerned Heero?” Duo smirked over at Heero as he just gave him another of his narrowed looks.
“What are you getting at?” Heero glared at Duo with a clenched fist.
“Uh… nothing never mind it Heero besides speaking about colony factions now you mention it there has been several terrorist attacks on civilian targets. According to our sources out on the edges of the colonies there has been reports of armed uprising staged by unknown groups with Mobile Suits who are already organizing against the United Earth Sphere Nation, but pretty annoying if you ask me still clinging to old traditions of their dead leaders.” Duo muttered putting on his dark shades over his eyes.
“Who are they? Ex-OZ? White Fang?” Heero looked over through the corner of his eye again while driving.
“I think so, But no ones sure it could be simple colonists arming themselves trying to cause some kind of ruckus up there as you said protecting themselves trying to gain perfect peace their own way, what a bunch of fools.” Duo leaned back placing his arms behind his head to rest on.
“What’s wrong with that?”
“Their definition of peace is crazy and out of control… Oh forget it Heero you’re just trying to create an argument again besides you’re getting off here right?” Duo looked over as Heero pulled up at the airport getting out of the vehicle going over to the entrance waiting for Duo to catch up with him.
“Take it easy Heero, I’ll stay here and work on catching up with more of those corporate productions bases theirs bound to be more since that’s the tenth one we’ve unplugged recently you’d think they’d get the message by now we don’t need Mobile Suits anymore wouldn’t you.” Duo relaxed leaning back against a wall.
“Yeah… Okay I’ll check out in the Sanc Kingdom, I’ve got some business there to take care of before I leave for outer space.” Heero slipped on his jacket over his shoulders looking back at Duo.
“So you’re going to check on how Nicolai’s doing huh? You just can’t keep away can you Heero, without keeping an eye on how he’s progressing in life but he’s got his own decisions to make you know we we’re in that similar position once.”
“Don’t worry I’ve been there before, I won’t let that similar mistake happen twice either even if I’ve got to interfere…” Heero said before turning around walking off to catch his transport to the Sanc Kingdom.
“Oh and say hi for me if you see Kato! It’s been good talking to you, cool bye.” Duo smirked turning away walking as the two departed on their separate ways.
“Heh.” Heero shrugged to himself closing his eyes walking onto his transport heading off to the Sanc training facility while Duo simply watched him fly off going back to the vehicle driving away down the highway onto the next factory to check out on the list.
Back in space the blonde haired figure of the Vice President was escorted by the base commander through the facility along with armed guards at all times seeing as they were on a prison colony it only seemed feasible for someone of that kind of position to have protection. As the group walked along a glass tube system high above the prison cells down below the white figure stared down on both sides of himself at the loud sounds that could be heard down below of them all shouting amongst themselves.
“Truly a disgusting place this is, even though this is my first time here I’m already offended by the looks are you sure you take all the precautions with dealing with the filth of the universe don’t you? And I can’t believe we use this place as a primary staging place for all our ongoing research and operations but it makes perfect sense khehehe what a bunch of ignorant fools the United Nation is becoming.” The blonde haired figure laughed childishly twisting a strand of hair around his index finger.
“But of course sir, that is why we built the MD level to the prison colony that isn’t included in the design specifications that we handed over to the Earth government before approval was given to construct this place.” The commander bowed in response of his words respectfully as the two came up to a elevator shaft at the end of the tube system.
“Humph, well I’d expect nothing less from you, but after all I guess it’s my father who is keeping you all in check you soldier’s are all the same all needing someone to give you orders like handing a lapdog his treat after doing a trick don’t you? Well show me to my father what is all you’re required for today. And do hurry up about it I’m going impatient as it is.” The white suited young man sighed at what he was hearing and seeing.
“Yes sir, Mister President!” The commander bowed taking a small key card from his pocket sliding it into the elevator hearing the door slide open the group walked inside, again the military officer took out a key chain around his neck putting it into a hole hidden behind one of the elevator switches before the door swung shut and the shaft proceeded to go down into the colony far under where the prison cells were held. Stopping at an unfamiliar level the doors opened hearing heavy machinery being welded and fixed together, the White suited figure ran out to observe everything hanging onto the bars of the railing of the platform where they were standing in the middle of a huge Mobile Suit production base eying hundreds of pitch black metal armoured machines standing tall and elegantly.
“So this is the new type of Mobile Suit I’ve heard so much about! Ha… aha, ha, ha I love it! Simply it looks so marvellous along with the others I understand it’s the best but it’s so better than the rest of Mobile Suit genre. Leo… Aries… Cancer… Pisces… Tragos… Taurus…Virgo and even the fabled Gundams won’t even compare to what we’re creating, what’s it called?” He spoke in a slender admiring voice staring up at the black suit in front of his eyes smirking evidently at the moment.
“They call it Scorpio Mister President.”
“Hmm Scorpio eh? What’s its characteristics and performance on battlefield simulations?” He continued to look almost obsessed with the new machine of war standing before his eyes.
“Well that isn’t my business the President is waiting for you in a high level briefing with the head’s of departments in the conference room if you’ll come this way sir.” The commander spoke leading the ay across the metal platform to another lift.
“Tch, I’ll have to remember to cut that man’s tongue out for his insolence one of these days spoiling my moment with a Mobile Suit heh but I suppose he’s learning not to interfere in private affairs maybe I’ll promote him after all but only after to show my appreciation hm, hm, hm.” The Vice President followed in a shrug of his long white trench coat stepping onto the lift taking the two shortly to a command level above the production plant up a series of stairs leading to a set of huge gloss coated well furnished wood and platinum plated doors with two guards dressed in black suits with sunglasses over their eyes standing on either side of the door to prevent intrusions.
“The Vice President is here to see his father.” The commander spoke to the guards who pushed the doors open into a dark poorly lit room apart from several green lights, which were located along the centre of the board table.
“Please this way the President is expecting you.” One of the black suited guards spoke to the Vice President who simply walked inside shortly after the doors closed behind him, seeing the new visitor arrive one of the guards on the other side of the door showed him to a seat on the far end of the long board table which had several figures all dressed in formal clothing from suits to military uniforms and scientists coats. At the far end of the table was a rather large thick black leather chair surrounded by a desk filled with computer screens and switches however his figure could be seen by the lighting of huge projector screens behind him displaying various images of projects, his face remained unseen from the darkness of the lighting and shadow of the room.
“Kukov How long did it take the Suits to work?” A voice beckoned from behind the large black chair with a high profound European accent added with it.
“Is it safe to speak?” One of the military officers spoke turning his head over to see another joined the table filling the entire seating now.
“Of course… Please continue General.”
“Well the kill time depended on the skill of the subject the children were terminated in less than ten seconds and the adults took longer between ten to twenty two seconds.” Kukov continued ticking off a list on his detailed report.
“Any survivors?”
“None Mister President.”
“The total death?” Another voice came from a woman in a suit sitting across the table from the General.
“Approximately… forty five.” Kukov replied back writing down the figure on his report as she checked to look at hers.
“My intelligence said that there was seventy seven people in that Preventer convoy, how do you compensate for this discrepancy General?” She demanded leaning over the table showing him the report of hers.
“Inaccurate intelligence the Mobile Dolls leave no mistakes.” Kukov snapped back in defence to the accusations being made against him.
“Enough… begin full production of the suits. Is there any other reports to hand in?” The well spoken figure commanded from the chair turning his chair around before standing to his feet pressing a switch, as the image screen changed to reveal a map of the entire space colonies, including planets already populated.
“Already underway Mister President.” Kukov said looking up the President.
“Mister President, our Mobile Suit Production is almost complete. We shall soon have two hundred Mobile Suit divisions at your disposal built up according to our calculations. The new Virgo’s should prove quite effective boosted with the now mass produced Scorpio’s we shall have an unstoppable force that not even Gundams could contend with. If they even existed that is.” Another of the board members spoke finishing with several laughs and snickers across the table at the remark being made.
“And what of the recent reports of Preventer Agents eliminating our Leo facilities on the Earth General Kukov I thought you was going to take care of those meddling Gundam pilots once and for all before they caught onto our operation?” The woman intelligence officer spoke in the black suit.
“Just because you are our intelligence representative Zofia, that does not give you the right to question my methods of handling military operations. Besides they were only our replica site’s to keep the Preventers from finding out the true meaning of Operation Firestorm before it is too late and then I shall crush them like the little insects they are with our overwhelming force. What can Gundam pilots do possibly do to our new additions anyway scream at them?” Kukov sarcastically said snickering along with several others amongst the table.
“Your underestimating of their skills will be the undoing of the Operation before it even gets underway! According to one of our recon satellites that was observing the area where we lost contact over North Dakota we recovered the following images of the site that had top security before it was demolished by infiltrators, presumed to be Preventer agents.” The tall woman stood up moving over to the operations board changing it to high image photos taken by the satellite observing the smoking base.
“This what was taken after the base was eliminated, we scanned over the area to try and find who did this and found out something rather interesting… right here.” Zofia pointed to an area on the image indicating a small dot on the map.
“You drag our whole attention to a simple dot on the screen, and that is supposed to scare us all. Please Zofia if that’s the best you can come up with your wasting our time and efforts.” Another on the military side spoke conversing along side with the others.
“You shall soon see General, now if I zoom on this location to maximum magnification in slow motion you shall see what I mean.” Zofia waited as the image was selected by the computer before being magnified slowly till it showed an image of a vehicle with two passengers inside soon catching everyone’s attention as they all started to talk amongst themselves. Zofia pressed on another switch in a palm held control in her hand switching the image over to two detailed biographies of the two people.
“As you all can see now, these two are none other than Duo Maxwell a former Gundam pilot now serving with the Preventers as an elite agent of theirs for infiltration and stealth combat. And secondly the most deadliest of the Preventers… Heero Yuy another former Gundam pilot who specialises in demolitions to expert Mobile Suit piloting trained to be the most Perfect Soldier of the last war who in fact brought it to and end with his rebel co-helpers. And you call this unimportant General?Let me remind you there is no room for failure in this Operation, and the reason why I am here is to provide you all with the accurate intelligence that I give to help us be well prepared for what is to come. Now I don’t need you to tell me how to do my job because if it wasn’t for me you would’ve been killed most likely by the Preventers long ago.” Zofia said with a stern look on her face as the tall man turned from the screen to take his seat again clapping softly in his hands at the performance.
“Good, good well done Zofia I can see you’ve been working hard unlike Kukov here it would be wise not to underestimate the Gundam pilots. Zofia is right they did bring the last war to an end and that is why they are dangerous to our cause, not because they don’t have Mobile Suits anymore no, no but because they have the potential to destroy everything we represent even if they have been stripped of their major power. As is providence nature always finds a way to wreck havoc upon the unprepared, well Zofia where can we find our little pest trying to dig holes?” The President spoke softly turning his chair around to face the others in the room.
“We tracked him down heading on a flight towards Sanc Kingdom territory, we suspect he might be there to gather more intelligence about our operations, since they have an extensive data bank on the goings on around the world since being a Preventer training facility now after the Mariemaia conflict that occurred they felt the need for more field operatives to collect information. But also we found something a little more interesting I think you’ll all agree… We’ve been able to uncover that Heero Yuy’s son is attending that school currently following in his parents footsteps no doubt however we have yet to determine the location of Arys Yuy.” Zofia took a seat once again turning off the view monitor.
“Excellent work Zofia, again you please me more than ever I’ll have one of our agents keep a close eye on that operation but I would also like to introduce you all to our newest officer. According to this profile I received you should prove useful.” Everyone turned and looked over at the young officer with blonde haired sitting over on the military side of the table.
“I would like to see that profil…” Kukov was about to speak before being interrupted.
“Give the Lieutenant something important to do… That is all Kukov.” President Geni said finishing his words as Kukov coughed slightly to remove a dry feeling in his throat.
“Forgive me Mister President but there is something else.”
“Oh?” Geni looked up surprised waiting to hear what he had to add, as did everyone else in silence across the room watching Kukov stand up from his chair walking over to the main view screen switching it onto another image of a mining colony harvesting resources.
“We have met with rebel resistance on our mining colony XXXX355, claiming that they will not support our efforts any longer in the actions we are taking blocking all the passageways into the colony in and out here and here.” Kukov pointed with a long metal rod to positions on the colony as the President thought it over.
“They are enemies of the people, destroy the colony and kill everyone in it! And hand the following information to our news operatives that former White Fang terrorists staged the attack claiming that they were taking back what was rightfully theirs to fund their operations. They will serve as an example to others in addition help us persuade the government to enforce a new military order namely our own seeing how poorly the Preventers handle things these days they are practically helpless and blind, Lieutenant Klementz you will handle the operation I trust you can handle such a task to prove your new loyalty to us, for if you fail do not return…That will be all for today we will continue this at our next scheduled meeting, dismissed.” The President said in a heavy tone rotating the chair around to the side taking a large cigar out of a box nearby on his desk putting it into his mouth lighting it, as everyone started to leave their seats carrying their reports leaving the room.
“So… this is what you’ve been up to father all these years producing new types of Mobile Suits secretly behind the Earth Nation’s back oh I love the deceit you’re creating it’s simply marvellous! Who would’ve ever thought that the leading worldly idol seen by the people as a “New Hope” would be in fact planning an extensive operation to take control of the Earth Nation and it’s colonies using unorthodox methods of gaining the governments trust to discontinue the Preventer’s and form a new military force to enforce the protection of the people. Father you can be incredibly cunning do you know that?” He spoke standing up walking over to where his father was sitting blowing out smoke from his cigar in one hand and a large glass filled with red wine in the other.
“What I do Lloyd, I do only for the people and the people’s history shall judge me. Where the Roman’s failed I shall succeed, our borders will stretch from person to person, coast-to-coast, colony-to-colony for united military rule is our destiny. The people require governing as a method of control to form a unity of stability amongst the people in which they will trust us even more by arming themselves once more the colonies will be safe and we shall sell them Mobile Suits as protection. Mankind is destined to fight each other since it was born the Preventers in their own stubborn ignorance are only trying to with stall that future we seek.” Geni spoke with his calm high intellect voice.
“The Preventers are nothing but misguided children father, you shouldn’t waste your time with them, they will soon give into what we are about to create something perfect which will live on forever. But besides that father I have something I must ask of you, I would like to handle whatever you have in mind with dealing with Heero Yuy.” He suddenly said in a hardened tone of voice showing a sign of slight aggression on his facial tone.
“Oh? And why is that Lloyd? Do I sense a scent of hatred in those words and expressions your showing right now hmm?” President Geni smiled full-hearted on his lips at the sudden motion of his son’s anger. “Be patient… soon everything will fall into place but it would not be wise to underestimate what former Gundam pilots can do, that is why I’m taking all the necessary precautions that they do not find out our operations. As you can see what happened to that Leo factory, could also happen to our main facilities if we are not prepared. Lieutenant Diluculo will you please step forward.” Geni outstretched a gestured hand towards the corner of the room as a shadow started to emerge walking silently towards the two catching the Vice President’s narrowed stare.
“Why of course Mister President, I am always here watching from shadows for the right moment. I must say the meeting was quite a soap opera though wasn’t it? Maybe you should try and coordinate your men before they start ripping their throats out.” The voice sounded feminine, but bold and rather strong as the tall young girl came into view dressed in a dark green uniform with a white scarf wrapped around her neck, feeding down into the green uniform jacket. Aligned with short platinum blonde hair and blue eyes.
“M-Maria…?” The Vice President Stuttered over his words from the shock or rather surprised to see a familiar face he hadn’t seen in over a while.
“Oh, So you two have already met then?”
“No I must’ve been mistaken father, please forgive my intrusion.” He said giving a solid stare still at the woman in the uniform unsure on her motives.
“I see… What a shame since you’ll be both working together on this operation together I hope you can both handle it. This is White Fang’s new representative and acting officer to us; she’ll be working with you on your infiltration into the Preventer training facility in Sanc territory, your missions are simple as to keep a close watch on Heero Yuy and relay his status directly to me. And as for you Commander Diluculo, your mission is to get close to his son and find out any information regarding the Preventer’s current situation, delete any information they might have on our operations if that becomes necessary. But do not get me wrong I don’t want any commotion that would alert them to our little skirmish operation here, in other words use a little care in this won’t you.” Geni said with frowned words.
“That won’t be a problem Mister President, I’ll use whatever method deemed necessary to accomplishing this mission. But do not get me wrong I’m not doing this for you or your company, I’m doing this strictly for White Fang and I won’t be used as any kind of pawn. I run things my own way or no way, the colonists want their freedom back from the Earth and we intend to do things our own way consider this just a way gaining one step closer to my goal.” The woman spoke with harsh tone in her voice, but still bold with authority.
“Of course, but do not exceed your power anymore than necessary do remember it was I who funded your operations, and gave you new Mobile Suits to conduct your reclamation of your so called “freedom” from the Earth. You are both free to leave I’ve already taken the liberty of dispatching new identity for you to use while in the Sanc Kingdom I hope you make the best of this, do remember this is an important time do not do anything that would disturb the United Earth Sphere Nation.” Geni turned around in his chair facing reports coming in on his desk computers.
“Yes, I’ll do my best father to accomplish your ideals.” The blonde haired Vice President gave a slight bow in front of his father just as the woman walked straight out of the room without even a sign of respect, he followed her out through the rather large fine wooden furnished doors.
