"Ol, I'm just going to borrow something to wear from you, okay?" Percy called out as he rummaged through his lover's messy drawers with a slight frown. "Not if you're going to lecture me about my folding skills." "What folding skills?" Percy muttered. "You'd have to actually fold before you could have any skills at doing it." "Heard that, Love." Oliver's arms slid around Percy's waist and he feathered light kisses down the bare column of his throat. Percy sighed and closed his eyes, bringing his arms up and around Oliver's neck, a miscellaneous item of clothing gripped in a hand, forgotten. The nibbling kisses stopped abruptly. "Hey, you found my lucky boxers. I've been looking everywhere for them." "Except, apparently, your underwear drawer, where they should be," Percy said dryly, opening his eyes. "Oh, well, I'd actually put them in another drawer because I didn't want... you to..." Oliver trailed off at seeing the almost comically horrified expression on Percy's face. "These are your lucky boxers?" "I mean, I know that they're, well..." "Absolutely hideous," Percy supplied. Oliver pulled the boxers from Percy's hand, hurt expression on his face. "They've got personality." "Correction then, they're just plain obnoxious." "They're not that bad." "Oliver, they're black with neon orange and green teddy bears on them." "Eh, Halloween... possibly..." Percy snatched the boxers back. "What about Halloween?" "Uh." "Thought so. And these things," Percy held them away from himself and looked them over critically, "they give you good luck, do they?" "Well, I've never lost a Quidditch game while wearing them." "Oh?" "Or failed a potions test." "Really now?" "And... I was wearing them the first time we kissed." "Hmm, yes, that does seem a stroke of good something, though I don't think you can attribute that one to luck." "I happen to think I'm the damn luckiest guy around." "I'd have to agree there." "And... Wait a minute." Percy grinned. "But you have god awful taste in clothing." "They're lucky boxers. They don't have to look nice, they just have to be lucky." Percy regarded the boxers a moment, and then settled them on top of Oliver's head. "And what do your great mystical," cough, "hideous", cough, "boxers have to tell you about tonight?" "I heard that." "Hmm, no, I think they may be malfunctioning then." Percy pushed them down over Oliver's eyes. "And everyone thinks you're quiet and mild mannered?" Oliver grumbled, pulling the boxers off his head. "Hey, they won't work unless you have them on." "They're not supposed to be on my head, you..." Oliver trailed off at Percy's smirk. "You know, you're really incorrigible sometimes." Percy wound his arms around Oliver's neck and nipped at his nose. "But you love me." "Yes, and I can't imagine, oh." Oliver lost all train of thought as Percy nibbled on his ear. "Hmm... Maybe those lucky boxers do work," Percy mused, kissing along Oliver's throat. "What do you, mmm," Percy's lips moved over a particularly sensitive spot. The boxers slid from Oliver's fingers to the floor. "Ohhh..." 'Lucky boxers indeed' Oliver thought. |
